OK, hands up... we have lived in Bransgore for over a year, and this was our first visit! Good service, freshly cooked food, chip portion size was just right and reasonably priced. The family all enjoyed the food, so maybe not so long a wait until we go there again.
Love this place. Massive portions of both fish and chips. Fish is so white and have had the haddock and cod. Whenever anyone visits us they all want a takeaway from there. Big hit. Polite owners. Lovely. If the grease on bags could be reduced a bit would be great.

Whenever I visit the New Forest I look forward to visiting Bransgore Fish and Chips. Cod is exceptional - an absolute poem! Perfectly cooked fresh fish in crisp batter. Very generous portions and very reasonably priced. Thoroughly recommend 😊
The only place I go for fish and chips because it guarantees good quality food for not to much of an expense.
Edit: Since this original review 3 years ago, the fish is lovely and large with a light crispy batter, and the chips are what they should be, squidgy and flavourful. This still is the only place I go for fish and chips! They now have a website that you can go to order your food online where you can pay card. The only downfall is that in store, it is still cash only.
Excellent cod and chips. Crispy batter and all freshly cooked. Will use again when we’re back in the area. Highly recommended
