Lovely food, amazing rib eye steak, chips are legend. Had a full party and pub so service a little slow but didn't affect the evening. Well done. Someone brought a pet skunk into the pub which was great fun 🤣

Had the sharing Sunday Lunch platter which you could choose two meats (roast beef, pork or chicken) for the platter with lots of different vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding each. Was very tasty 😋 then had Lime and Strawberry Tart for dessert. Tasty food, good portions...what more could you ask for 👍🏽😊 will definitely return 👍🏽👍🏽

First time eating at the Swan for a little while. But it was good, it has improved from a year ago. When I thought the food lacked a bit of seasoning. I had mussels followed by lamb and could not fault it. £6.50 for two scoops of ice cream is a bit steep, but I guess this is the norm nowadays. Looking forward to returning soon.

Delicious food and lovely waiting staff. We ate outside in the garden which was really beautiful and spacious We both ordered from the specials menu and as the dishes were new the chef asked the waiting staff for our views on the dish (which was delicious) so it's clear the kitchen cares about the quality of the food they put out

Had Saturday morning breakfast here food was amazing, what a lovely place to eat. Would definitely return and not just for the breakfast. The menus for lunch and dinner look amazing too. Staff were really helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble for them.

We appreciated the fact that we could take our dogs into the restaurant. It was quiet which made lunch even more relaxing. Our needs were accommodated very well. The food was interesting and delicious - we found the starters were more than enough for a light lunch but still treated ourselves to a shared cheeseboard to finish. Exceeded my expectations!

Heard about a brass band evening here, so even though I'm not a fan of brass bands per se, decided to go along and see what it was. Well, what an amazing evening. A very talented band provided entertainment in the cozy garden area and later inside the pub. We had pizza which was really good and refreshing beers. Maybe not the cheapest place, but the quality was worth it. Friendly helpful staff makes all the difference in my opinion. Will definitely go there again.

Staff extremely attentive and helpful. Food was fabulous. Sunday Roast Sharing platter was incredible, couldn't fault any of it. Best roast potatoes ever. Extremely good wine at a very reasonable price.

This is what all Village pubs should be like. Visited recently with a table of 4 for sunday lunch and where a little hesitant as had read some of the recent slighly negative reviews and all i can seay is we where bowled over by the place, The food was amazing, cooked pefectly and great value for money. For starters I had the Scotch eggs that where perfectly cooked with runny yokes, served on a bed of rocket with a lovely home-made tartar sauce which I though would be unusual, it turned out to have been one of the best starters I have ever had. The sausage meat was perfecly seasoned and the delicate tartar complimented it perfectly. Each of our party went for different meats so we got to see the Beef, Pork and Lamb and they where all perfecty cooked with lovely fresh veg and lighty and fluffy Yorkshire puddings. Desert for us was either the Sorbet, Ice cream or a tart for one of our party and like everything else the portions where great, everything tasted home cooked. Bearing in mind our visit was during the Covid distance measures this is a business running perfectly with staff whop are friendly and attentive, I did notice there have been comments on other reviews about sticky tables but this is a common issue with some of the antibacterial products, and is simply dealt with by a napkin over the table. I would certainly go again and look forward to my next sunday lunch at The Swan
