The Globe

Lovely local pub. Great atmosphere at various points in the day. It’s our local, so I normally come here for a pint after work, but I’ve been here to watch some football on the various screens, and sometimes they have the cricket on which is always a bonus. The staff are great and all very friendly and welcoming. On Sundays when it is busy, they will try and accommodate you for a seat if you’re just there for a drink or to watch the TV, but obviously it can get a bit busy for Sunday roast (reservations are advised!) The food is good, at the usual mid-price point for pubs outside Central London these days, but it comes out quickly, even when it’s busy. Never been in here on a match day when Brentford are playing at home, but there always seems to be a good atmosphere when walking past. The Guinness is always good here (9/10), but £6.05.

So as usual the globe and the team at MC Bars has not disappointed with the food, service and lovely pub. The Sunday Lunch was very tasty and it was lovely to see one of the team members come to our table and ask if we wanted any more veg etc. The pub is clearly dog friendly and they think nothing of cutting a bit of beef sirloin from the carvery to give to the dogs which I thought was lovely. On top of that they have lots of screens for sport etc and a really nice intimate garden with lots of seats. Overall a fantastic experience and well worth a visit. So an update !!! Sunday 9th July and have come back for another dinner and thought I would post a pic of it!! (The empty plate that is lol) consistently lovely food and great service.
