Ludlow & Prime

Glad we stopped in despite the numerous bad reviews. Staff were attentive and friendly. The cocktails weren't the best, but the food was delicious. The brussel sprout starter was especially crispy and flavorful with bacon. The blackened salmon tasted really fresh in our salads. It can get quiet smoky inside, so keep that in mind. My eyes were burning near the end of our visit.

I loved the lighting and ambiance. Drinks and food came really fast. Everyone was friendly. I had the shrimp and grits . It was okay ( not the best I've had for $26. Not enough Grits and they tasted very grainy and was overwhelmed by the roux . Portions were really small. If i were on a diet they would have been perfect. I wish I had tried the steak.-- my friends who ordered Steak seemed to be satisfied. However my co- worker that also ordered the Shrimp and grits felt the same way. We were still a little hungry afterwards . The deviled eggs were good but you only get 2 eggs and the Brussel sprouts were just a wee bit over cooked more than I would prefer. The small portions and grainy unflavored grits are the only reason I took 1 star away-

We came in with a group and despite a low staff level ( a problem everywhere these days!) our server was pleasant and did a great job. Our drinks were well done and the food was delicious. We enjoyed crab cakes and shrimp and more as appetizers followed by some excellent steaks all cooked just as ordered. I had the mashed potatoes, but others were raving over the truffle Mac n cheese. The chocolate lava cakes for dessert were a great finish to the night. Thank You!

The food at this restaurant was so delicious! Best Mac n cheese with truffles I’ve ever had. My filet was also amazing and the dessert did not disappoint. Our server was so nice. The manager did make us aware that the food might take a little long because they were short on staff (and who isn’t these days!) It was actually nice to not rush out of there and enjoy a great time with friends.

We have been coming to this restaurant since they opened and have always enjoyed! The oysters are always delicious, the steak is great, and the seafood dishes are delightful. The happy hour specials are great! I highly recommend this restaurant. This is a family run restaurant that takes pride in doing a good job. Stan Davis

As a local, this is one of the finest happy hour spots in all of Brentwood. I’ve dined here three times already in July and the food always arrives in a timely manner that’s fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend sitting at the bar for the ultimate experience as the staff is constantly walking by checking on guests to ensure happiness and they have gotten in all of the Happy Hour orders for food and beverage in. I love Ludlow and Prime. Ignore the wacky reviews some have left and listen to someone who has lived here for 40 years. Great spot!

Briana was our AMAZING server ! We order Brussels Sprouts, Rosemary Rolls, Red Fish, & Cedar Salmon 🍣 EVERYTHING was so delicious I forgot to take pictures. Even the cocktails HIT DIFFERENT ! You’ve gotta try this place. Stop researching places to eat and come here. Our ticket was $140. And that’s with 4 cocktails, 2 appetizers, & 2 entrees.

I was with a group, no one was in the restaurant but my group... I ordered a salad and lemonade, the second round of lemonade was not sweet no ice.. Someone ordered a hamburger, I could tell it was so dry, he didn't eat it all, someone order salmon and mash potatoes, she returned something. Some ordered the gumbo, the person that ordered it, said they can make it better than that... Price of the food didn't match food quality...
