DEAD BUGS IN FOOD. I’m so disappointed because my family and I have loved this place for years. I know it’s hard to keep things clean, and times are tough for the service industry, but I was absolutely disgusted to see a ridiculously massive dead ant in my refried beans for my takeout food from Las Palmas on Old Hickory Boulevard in Nashville today. This thing is a monstrosity. This shows an obvious lack of attention to detail by the kitchen staff. Surely there are more bugs in the kitchen food, and who knows what else. What's worse is I didn't notice it until I was almost finished eating. I'm absolutely livid and sick. I think I'm going to be sick. This should never happen. Pictures attached. I cannot believe I have been a regular customer here for years. Who knows what else I've put into my body from this place. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I have pictures for proof as well. I don’t know if I’ll ever come to a Las Palmas again, but I sure hope management does a deep overhaul of the kitchen and cleanliness standards.

3.5 ⭐️- your usual tex-mex The bean dip and chips is still one of the best amongst the other chain restaurants camino, la siesta) and their fajita quesadilla was goos as well. Service was good. The reason why I couldn’t give it a 4 was their “street tacos”. It didn’t look like a street taco plus it was almost $4 a piece. Definitely not something that doesn’t match their description and customer expectations.

Had a margarita and 2 burritos. Absolutely, the WORST Mexican food I have ever had! Everything tasted like it was out of a can (the discount kind). The salsa was plain old tomato sauce with a dash of hot sauce. Inside the burrito was cold, canned shredded chicken. The "beef" is hamburger with some onions mixed in. Not exactly Mexican style. In fact, I know I could cook a better meal at home, from canned Mexican foods from the grocery store. Even the margarita tasted a little odd. (I was a bartender for 5 years and a margarita is hard to screw up). The only reason I am giving them one star is the service was good.

When we arrived, all of the employees was in the back and didn't get to us until 10 minutes later, add there was only couple of guest in the restaurant, so practically the restaurant was just about empty. When we was seated, the menus was provided to us, but no one came by so that we can ask question on what type of food it is on the menu or what was in the meal. We sat there for almost 15-20 min and no one came by, so we got up and left since no one was at the front desk. Unacceptable.
