We couldn’t decide where to eat but we finally ended up at Yummy house. We wanted somewhere we haven’t been before. This is a mix of Japanese Ramen and Hawaiian BBQ. We ordered a few items from their menu since it was our first time. We ordered a couple of rice bowls one teriyaki and one salmon, the Karaage Chicken, Chicken KATSU with curry sauce, Loco Moco, Spam Musibi, Pot stickers and crispy shrimp. We also ordered a side order of Kailua Pork and Kimchi. The food presentation was nice, but nothing fancy. I was disappointed with the Loco Moco, the meat tasted like a regular meat patty. The Kalua pork was nice and smoky but it was a bit dry, the Kimchi’s level of spice was 1. It’s was more pickled than spicy, wasn’t what we expected. This is not to say the food was not good. The food was ok, nothing special. Unfortunately, no one ordered ramen so I can’t tell you about it, heard it was good though :). The service was ….ok. They served the appetizer but we had no plates, napkins or utensils, we didn’t get them until we had asked for them :). I give the food 3.5 stars and the service 3 stars for an overall experience of 3 stars! Maybe it will be better next visit! Until next time!

We couldn’t wait to dig in, so I apologize for the photo 😂 But I love this place!! ❤️ The food is always tasty and doesn’t take too long to be prepared, whether you’re eating inside or taking it to-go. Friendly staff as well. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous! My favorites are the tonkotsu ramen and Hawaiian bbq chicken. I’m so happy I gave Yummy House a try and have been back multiple times. Please support local businesses in the community! 👏🏽
