Had been frequenting another bakery in the area but their customer service was pretty off. However, this bakery not only has a great selection of produce that's always been of excellent quality when I've visited, but their customer service is superb. Always full of smiles and know how to make a customer feel welcome.
Had my first experience at this shop this morning. Had a sausage & cheese muffin and a hot chocolate. Nothing negative to say!! Absolutely scrumptious muffin. Hot chocolate was lovely too. And the 2 ladies in the bakery was lovely and such good service. Made me feel welcome & were very friendly. A joy to see so early in the morning. I can’t believe I have never been to this bakery before & definitely will be coming back to try more (especially the cakes 😂). Thank you again!!

Great place! Tasty food, excellent service and always a friendly face and a nice chat! Shenfield Bakery has been really great delivering bread, cakes and hot food to people who are isolating at home during Coronavirus. I never go anywhere else for my bread!
Used to go here as a kid and have recently moved back to the area. The sandwiches here are even better than I remember. I particually recommend the salt beef bagel, as the quality of the beef is incredible. Staff are friendly and helpful cannot recommend enough

First class local bakery situated near Shenfield train station, selling a truly wonderful selection of cakes, pastries, and home made bread, freshly made sandwiches and pies too, try their Bread pudding :-) The staff are all friendly and helpful, it does get busy, so be prepared to queue, well worth the wait though.
