The Health Garden

My experience visiting this cafe was very disappointing, upon arrival and after sitting down we then waited to be served, 20 minutes later still no one had attended our table with a menu or let us know they will be with us shortly. We then had to call out a staff member from the kitchen so they would actually take our order. Having finally been served, we was told that they only had 2 eggs left and no avocado, as a result of this I also ordered the Blueberry Pancake Stack for it to be brought out with strawberries upon delivery.. if I knew this would have been the case from ordering I wouldn't have done so as I dont like strawberries ans the menu clearly states blueberries, if it wasnt that I was on a tight schedule and only had a few minutes left to be back at work I would have left and gone elsewhere but I had to be back at work so with no other choice I removed as much of the strawberries I could and eat around them as i would have been hungry for work otherwise. After the ordeal with both meals, we was then hit with a £24 bill which I was unhappy to pay due to the lack of service and food supply, I then asked to speak to a manager or someone with authority on site to be told that there was no one with authority on site. In this case, I cannot blame the staff member as she was the only member of staff within the shop having to take orders, serve customers, prepare food and also keep the place tidy god forbid if it was ever busy! I would like a full refund.

Ate in here on sat 1st of April as it had been highly recommended. To start i couldnt put my bag on the floor it was that dirty it looked like it had not been swept for a week. We were seen to straight away but after 20 minutes without our drinks being brought over a staff member came over to confirm what i had ordered for food. I then asked if we could have our drinks and they had forgot what they were aswell. The food came out the eggs were overcooked and freezing cold. By that stage i was so hungry i couldnt be bothered to wait another half hour for more food. Still no drinks at this point. ill not be returning - absolute shambles and then after paying £27 for two breakfast the staff had the cheek to turn there nose up when i asked for the change from the £30. If the cafe was busy the bad service may have been understandable but there was only two other people.
