The Bell

The Bell is great pub restaurant. Its comfortable to sit in with well lit modern decor but still maintaining its older charm. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, dogs are welcome in the bar and raised seating area (very welcome, water down, 'dinner' offered, snacks available). Food is really good; wholesome, fresh and tasty. You have to have a pie, lots of choice, fresh made in the kitchen, just brilliant.

My dog Ernie and I went to the Bell based on the Google recommendations and they're completely right. This is a wonderful pub and we received a lovely warm reception and a special treat for Ernie which he gratefully wolfed down! The food is wholesome, home made and gorgeous and I would recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone! There is a section for people dining with dogs which is unusual and very welcome rather than being crammed next to the bar and they've got a beautiful parrot called Mickey who is stunning and entertaining!

A warm welcome to be had from the moment we walked in. Not overly busy but still a great atmosphere. Proprietors Caroline and Nicola are extremely attentive without being overbearing. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. Well done girls, had a fabulous afternoon and will definitely be returning soon. "A little gem" 👌👌

Travel past here frequently and noticed they'd spruced the outside up, so decided to pay a visit late afternoon on a Sunday.Car park was full, even at almost 4 pm. Had no idea it was quite so contemporary inside, and really enjoyed the ham egg n chips. Would definitely be thinking of trying the Sunday roast sometime soon.
