The Haywain - Bridgend - Photo album

Friday 06/08/21. My aunt and I arrived without prior booking at about 6pm. The girl who greeted us at the door explained there may be a wait but we were welcome and gave us our choice of seating. We were promptly offered drinks and given a bottle of water at the table. We didn't decide on our food o
Called in for food. Great menu with varied choices for everyone. My boyfriend had hand carved ham salad+it was a lovely, fresh, crisp salad-huge bowl with quality, thick ham. I had grilled seabass+jacket potato, was served with peas+side salad. It was fantastic! Fish was beautiful. The jacket potato
Incredible food with amazing portion sizes! The food was also served by incredible staff really efficiently and with fabulous service. Really enjoyed our time! Will be back again in no time!
The afternoon tea delivery option is an excellent lockdown present. We ordered one for my mum's birthday and received the pictured selection for £19.95 (including delivery). They could certainly get away with charging a lot more than that!
Took the missus here for Valentines. Essentially our first date out without the kids! Admittedly it wasn’t my first choice of venue, never been here before. But we were both really glad we did, will be returning again. It seemed quiet when we arrived, was clean and had a rustic feel, without feelin
Thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of haywain. The food was excellent, the service was friendly too. Will definitely be going back. Sunday roast was lovely.

A great pub to visit, when pubs are allowed to open again, for a drink or a meal. They're now delivering meals, etc in the local area and we've just finished our Sunday lunch. The meal was delicious, with plenty of different vegetables and, of course, gravy; we both had chicken and I think they also
Friendly staff. Nice food large portions
Huge thanks to all the staff at the Haywain for the wonderful friendly staff, excellent service, and high quality of food at the celebration of life of my Husband Dale yesterday. It was a day I really did not want to come but the professionalism and care from the Haywain team made it very much easie
Went to the Haywain for a last minute hen party/day before wedding meal. They very kindly accommodated 16 of us in the outside gazebo. We were able to order drinks to the table using the qr code provided which made things much easier than when you order drinks at the bar. They had a system was when
Loved the place. But they seriously need to think about getting an app for serving purposes. Their present system is a bit of a shambles. However great atmosphere and excellent entertainment. The serving system let them down. Two lots of our drinks order went astray due to staff not having a clue wh

Nice place, friendly staff and good choice of food on the menu. I had a ham salad which was fresh and tasty with nice thick cut ham. My Mrs had the sea bass with jacket potato and a side salad which she really enjoyed. We will definitely be returning!
