Steven Toozer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
First time trying The Pelican and what can be said? In one word 'Astonishing'. The food tasted out of this world! And the portions were very generous. The staff were friendly and the background music was good. The dining area was nicely presented with a cosy log fire. Will definitely be returning! Amazing!

A lovely historic pub in the countryside. Great place to stop off for some food or drinks when visiting the beaches or rivers close by. …
Bertrand Billard ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Whilst out and about, we stopped off at the Pelican inn (pay attention of the one-way system driving into the car park). The menu was brand new, and we got to be the first to experience it. …
Pete Bowley ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very good value Sunday lunch, first rate table service. The beef brisket was very rich and tender and the portion sizes were verygenerous compared to most at the same price point.Lots of rich gravy was another plus-and it's dog friendly after a cold Sunday morning walk! You won't be disappointed.
Lauren Rycroft ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The food here was absolutely delicious! We all had something different but all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We were in the dog bar as we had 3 four legged friends with us. Would definitely recommend. 👍🏻 …
Amanda Radburn ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lovely pub near the sea. Opposite riding stables, Ogmore Castle, and river. Great setting. Friendly staff and cosy lounge and warm fire. Toilets are basic, and not great for wheelchairs. Parking limited at busy times. Outdoor area to sit. Food good . Nearby to famous Ewenny Pottery, beaches, shops at Bridgend and Porthcawl.
