Been using godfreys for many years, never had a bad one. And yes it can be busy on the weekends but that's because it's a blinking good and popular Chinese

God, they are so busy all of the time. They don't take any rudeness off customers. The girls are always helpful. If I don't know a certain meal, they will explain the meal to me. That's when I make my choice.

We have tried many different Chinese takeaways but none of them rival Godfrey. The food is fresh tasty and highly aromatic.
Their chips are not greasy and neither are the vegetable spring rolls.
They do not use soy sauce.
We have always called ahead to place our order because the food is cooked fresh. And it saves having to wait in the car.
There are places to park outside the take away anyway as well as a cash machine because Godfrey only takes cash payments .

This place has been operating from the triangle for as long as I can remember and I don't think they've ever got my order wrong and I've never had any reason to complain. The menu isn't as expansive as some other Chinese takeaways whicb is probably a good thing as Godfreys food always feels fresher and less stodgy than it's competitors!
