Currently does not do home cooked food. Great atmosphere, a small selection of real ales. Often has live music,open mic and quiz night's.
Might be the last decent pub standing in Bridgend. Refurbished to a good standard, nice atmosphere and wide selection of reasonably priced drinks.

A proper pub, run very well with something different on each night of the week. Geraint, Katie and the rest of the team have made this a real gem in the heart of Bridgend.
Sadly they are leaving and the Pub is going to be closed again.
It's a pity that the owners, Star Bars and Pubs, and the brewery Heineken couldn't see what this place means to the people that use it and provide the support that is needed here. Just check out the 248 Facebook messages in support of the current Landlord and Landlady.
This is a huge loss to our community. I expect at some point in the future someone else will be found to run it, and also I expect that they will run into the same problems if they aren't addressed.
So why not just sort things out now, and let the good people of Bridgend enjoy this beautiful little pub.

This is such a lovely pub, staff really friendly, and impressed how it was kept so clean throughout the night. The main guy ( wore a cap) approached us to let us know a table was free so we had a seat. Definitely will be back.
Loved it real Xmas spirit lots fab interesting people their I love to people watch great place to go for a wonderful refreshing beer or cider. Don't miss out go!
Only popped in to watch football. Bar staff were friendly and it was a nice old fashioned pub.
