This is a great place to eat. It's situated upstairs and is inaccessible for wheelchair people, however Carrie England downstairs were very friendly and accommodating and also do brilliant cocktails. Definitely not a place to dismiss.
Lovely little find. It has a nice atmosphere and menu. We ordered 3 tapas each which was more than enough. There was a big party in, which may have slowed down our dishes as they came out one at a time.
Visited restaurant last night, felt sceptical as one or two bad reviews however I had a fantastic experience! Just goes to show not all review are correct. The atmosphere from all the staff felt welcoming nothing was too much trouble especially with my allergies, and I thank you for this. The restaurant felt calming and me and my partner felt very relaxed on our child free night out. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing place. Came here tonight with my boyfriend and we ordered so much food! Staff were amazing and attentive. Chef Sam was so nice and friendly! I don’t know the name of the blonde girl who greets you / took our order but she was so so lovely. Both absolutely embody what great hospitality service is about. Food was incredible as well, such good value for authentic tapas and the experience. will 100% be back and sharing it with everyone i know!
The staff were friendly and welcoming, joining us in a giggle at one point, and the atmosphere once a few more tables were occupied really made the night. The food was really good, hot and very tasty and an excellent selection, 3 dishes each was just the right amount. Will be going back, thankyou for a lovely meal and a great night 👌🏼😋👍🏻

I am so glad it didn't. We had a truly fabulous time. Plenty of ambience, delicious food (especially the calamari and garlic chicken). Front of house were genuine, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. They didn't rush us and we relaxed in the lovely atmosphere. Words to describe Cafe Ruiz would be relaxed, warm, authentic, delicious, ambient and a great place to relax with friends. Just goes to show you should always find out for yourself!
Fantastic food and lovely people there. Look forward to visiting again and trying other things on the menu. Only slight issue was the toilet area needs attention, was flooded on the floor and not very nice. But the restaurant side of things excellent.
We went here as a large group of 7 friends for a meal. The food was delicious and generous portion sizes. We all picked 3 dishes each to share around the table and we were all full by the end and couldn't even finish it all. Delicious food!!
The service was good considering they were busy on a Saturday night. The staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning!!

Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. Had my birthday meal here. Staff made us all welcome and adapted the meals to suit the fussy ones in our group. Food is well priced but drinks can be on the pricey side. Overall recommend it to anyone who loves tapas food.
