F & B's Fish & Chip Restaurant & Takeaway

Take away only chippy. Simple menu, small and Chips with medium Haddock and Large Haddock or Cod. I think there may have been a nugget option. I wanted Cod so ordered large and it was half the price of my local chippy and twice the size. It didn't even fit in the box! The fish was lovely and fresh, the chips were nice but we arrived a bit after the lunch rush and I think they had sat in the heater a bit too long. Dad got lucky and had the fresh cooked portion of chips and said they were great.

By far the best in town, same as in Scarborough. Superb fish, generous portions; good potatoes well cooked in fresh oil/fat; well priced. But your best point in Brid was your two excellent staff, who served us about 2pm on September 1st. Efficient, very pleasant ( a smile always captures repeat business) and very unflappable under pressure, also keeping up with wiping down and sweeping floors. To prove I'm not uncritical, we felt the curry sauce was a little too salty. So thank you and keep up the good work.

Absolutely amazing experience here- my partner got the large fish and chips and it was honestly HUGE, so big I had to laugh when it first got brought out. My medium size was also big for a medium portion! The curry sauce was amazing- I’ve never tasted one like it! Wouldn’t go anywhere else when in Brid now

We arrived around 2030 noting they closed at 2100. They had limited stock left available which was fine with us as we only wanted simple items. The staff were friendly and helpful pointing out what they had left over. The menu had a good selection if we’d been earlier. I was slightly surprised they closed at 2100, however a lot of the places seemed to. I had a large chips and 2 normal sausages, the chips were excellent quality. Not too greasy, I loved them, lots of crispy bits as well. Sausages were standard, very nice. The place was very clean and presentable, chip forks were available along with all the usual sauces etc. Based on this experience I would recommend getting your fish n chips from here; I’ll probably be back in future.

What can I say about this place!! I bought a large fish and chips and the fish was the biggest I've ever experienced!! So many people that saw it (even as I was walking eating it), commented on the "whale" I had!! If I'd known, there would have been no reason for others to order a meal as well (as could have fed a family of 4!). Tasty fish and amazing chips. Great prices too. Definitely recommend of in the area, as can't see anyone else beating it for cost, taste and value.
