The entrance is just off of the roundabout.
There is a cafe inside plus a little drinks and food kiosk outside within the gardens.
This is one of the most well presented garden centres I've ever been in.
The outside area is large, and it feels like you're walking through tropical gardens.
A great selection of everything you need..
There is a homeware section, although it's not that big, this garden centre is all about the outside, be it sheds, plants or wooden furniture.
Pet area inside.
Well worth a visit.
1st visit the 4/8.Loved it.lovely coffee.Enjoy all the displays of plants, pots, sheds.Quite a large place so great for me.Valled back in on the 5/8 as coming back from Torquay.Bought 2 plants.Premises clean.Staff friendly, polite. Will be visiting again Highly recommend.Lots of parking, borrows, trolleys etc
Lovely garden centre, independent and family owned, with certainly a different feel to the bigger chains. Huge choice in all areas and well stocked. Many things I haven't seen elsewhere and I will be back for an apricot and a peach tree when I have a chance. A lovely cafe restaurant as well. I would definitely recommend
Probably the best garden centre I've been to. Well laid out, great range of plants and trees. Lovely restaurant and shop. Overall a great place to visit.
Marvelous garden centre to look around, plenty of different and interesting stuff to look at.
Good selection of plants, including a descent indoor section, great tearoom as well,a real pleasure to visit.
Garden Centres these days are great destination's for people to meet and if you couple that with the great range of good they now sell and brilliant tearooms like your own, you are on to a winner.
Long may it continue.
Revisited July 2022.
Now our favourite stopover going to Devon. The café is first class we shared a ham sandwich and chunky chips two drinks for under £20. I think that is good and the staff very helpful.
What a lovely garden centre/ nursery. A great idea to do small garden displays as you gave me some inspiration for my own garden and my dog enjoyed the walk around to 😆🐶
Looking to buy a new garden shed , we found one in the car park exactly the right size , it had been used in the Melplash show , good quality solid shed , we went into the garden centre and looked around , some great garden items at very reasonable prices , we looked at all the sheds and decided on two options , we went to the till area where a helpful and polite gentleman contacted the shed man , we met up with the shed man , very helpful , happy and polite , we ended up buying the first shed we saw , with a great deal and help from the shed man ( I'm not sure of his name ) but will recognise him in the future ! The shed will be delivered f.o.c. at a time suitable for us ,
We have looked at a lot of other shed suppliers , some were helpful but Groves were by far the nicest to deal with , I would rate them ,
Most Excellent
Thank you very much , it was a pleasure to be treated so well and politely !
This was our first visit to these nurseries, we were well impressed.
From the outside it did not look very big, how deceiving, it was vast and sprawling.
Rows and rows of plants, bushes, shrubs and garden ornaments. Everything a garden would need.
There is a restaurant, The Ivy House Kitchen, located in a large modern greenhouse.
Keep an eye out for the water feature/ with the crocodiles head in it.
Beautiful setting for an afternoon tea, the food that we saw looked amazing! Prices are a bit on the higher side but looking at the food I would say it was value for money.
