Love this venue friendly staff not a bit stressful shipping here and also has excellent cafe. Parking is free it's also has wheelchair access if needed.
Had lovely meal in cafe then we bought some clothes some adults colouring book then we had a look in the garden
Worth visiting Pendle Village if only to experience The Chocolate Strawberry cafe.
A great cafe serving excellent reasonably priced food by the most pleasant attentive staff.
We are lucky enough to live close by and we frequently visit. It speaks volumes that a large percentage of the older generation eat there, they are no fools!
Not an extensive menu, but what they do, they do well. Take a look at the burger that I had during this visit. A visit to the loo is also pleasing as there has been no expense spared in the sanitary ware either.
All in all well done.
Ordered traditional minced beef and onion pie with veg and potatos, I asked for chips and mushy peas and they were very obliging.
Good strong cuppa too. Highly recommend if your looking for good quality home cooked food.
Recommended by a friend, so went on a mission through rising rivers and flooded roads. An old mill re vamped into a cafe and shopping experience. The cafe is well run, wheelchair accessible, lovely toilets and a really nice menu. We went Sunday 10am, it soon filled up with regulars, Their food is fresh and really nice, the cakes are not my thing but the unicorn cake was well received by my wife. Staff were accommodating thinking I was taking pics for my wife, but it was for this review! The staff really made the place, thank you.

Went Friday around one pm to meet up with a friend. Place was busy and only a few tables spare. The seated area is accessible for people with disability and mobility problems but is a ways from the car park. You make your choice from the menu, get your table number then go to the counter to order and pay. This section is not accessible for the disabled as it has a number of steps up to it. I didn’t notice any other way up. There were a lovely selection of cakes on display in this area as well which looked very tempting.
A wide range of condiments in sachets available on the dining area floor. I ordered the burger with added cheese and bacon with a bottle of sparkling water. My friend had prawns with baked potato and a latte. Even though they were busy it didn’t seem to take long before our food was brought over to is. This was good as my friend was on her lunch break.
Burger was good. Bacon was tasty but I am not a big fan of cheese like this on a burger. Although I do love cheese I prefer the processed cheese slice on a burger. It was a bit overpowering for me and if I had again I would order without. The chips appeared to be fresh and home made not frozen. One or two could have done with a little more frying. Plus it wasn’t the biggest of portions. However, these are minor quibbles. I would be happy to dine there again. The menu has a nice variety of options from hot and cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes and main meals. Not forgetting the cakes up near the till. Prices for me seemed very competitive. My burger with added cheese and bacon and a drink was a little over £10. The number of people dining there suggests they are doing something right.
Come here regularly for tea and cakes and occasionally a meal. Variety of cakes, all delicious are on offer, menu is varied and very well cooked and presented. The staff are brilliant, very pleasant and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
Nice friendly place, great staff, prices very reasonable and a varied menu. Well worth a visit. Toilets and facilities spotless. Highly recommended.
The food here is great and I often lunch here with friends. The outlook onto the Courtyard area is lovely.
