Excellent pub. Family run, with home made food and great service. We stayed at Forest Pines, and this was a really good value place to eat. Homemade ice cream superb!

The food was excellent. Fresh veg. Not all of it was frozen . Which made the vegetables a lot more tasty. Thank you to the head chef for a lovely meal.

We were made very welcome by the staff. Fish and chips were excellent as was the homemade ice cream. The only reason I don't give 5 stars, is because they have a push button machine for making hot drinks. I would not want to drink ready made machine coffee or tea where the water comes from a coffee machine
