In terms of KFC is what you would expect really. I give it 5 stars for the sentimental value it has of driving home from university and stopping here. It's worth noting that it's on the southbound side but if you're heading north (e.g. Manchester -> Leeds) then you'll have to cross over the bridge. It means you get to look at the traffic which can be fun.

If you need to charge your EV, use the Gridserve charging points not the Applegreen ones, Gridserve is far cheaper.

Plenty of self order kiosks or order at the counter to use cash, chicken was hot and fresh which is a lot more than can be said for some KFC's. Staff were pleasant, just a lack of tables available so ate in the car.

Good pit stop. Toilets are being refurbished in May 2023, but the temp toilets are clean with warm water to wash hands.

Quiet when we visited so didn't have to wait long. Ordered a 10 piece bucket with fries using a self service kiosk. Food was very hot & tasted okay.

The chicken wings was OK, but half of them was just less then half, so, combining them, was 5 out of 9, but they count like a whole one :)), funny. Fries was so bad and so little ...

Food was perfect, the automatic ordering services didn't produce a receipt, had I realised I would have taken a picture of my order number, fortunately the staff were able to tell me the number of my order.

Service was quick. Although a chain, the burgers here were rushed together and fell apart when eating. Chips were rubbish.
I felt the service could do with an improvement, the guy serving didn't seem to bothered about customer service.
