The Marine Tavern - Brighton - Photo album

Best bar in Brighton. Discovered it on my first day of a week long visit and after visiting several other places, I would find myself back at the Marine Tavern. Friendly staff and customers. Reasonable prices.
What a great find. Stayed in Brighton with my husband for a long weekend. Went in on the afternoon and them went back in the following evening, the entertainment was great and all the staff so friendly. Will definitely be back on our next visit.
The Marine Tavern is a quaint small bar owned and run by people who know what a good local should be! Staff are fun and easy to talk to and the beers are great!
It was a lovely cosy place that was warm and inviting with a very friendly barman who welcomed our dog and even gave him a blanket to sit on and some treats to eat. There is a good selection of drinks, including some very tasty rums we'd never had before, and our friends enjoyed lagers they had not
Wonderful find just off the main drag in Brighton. Very welcoming and great place to chill for an hour or three šŸ˜
A great little bar, really friendly locals and staff, quick service, good prices and excellent entertainment! Very much recommended!
Loved visiting here. The owner and staff are very friendly and told about the history of the pub, the area, and events that night. Would def come back!
Decent pub and our second stop into town on mini pub crawl last Saturday. Not a huge number of tables because itā€™s quite a small place but we found one for the four of us at the back. Was frequented mainly by locals who knew each other. Cozy atmosphere but we only stayed for one. Loved the ā€œSoup of
Ā£10 for a generous, homemade roast, Ā£2 extra for pig in a blanket and stuffing balls. The roast comes with a choice of meat (lamb, chicken or beef), cheesy leeks, Yorkshire pudding, steam broccoli, roasted carrots, roast potatoes, mash, cheese sauce, gravy and a choice of mustard, mint sauce or hors
Lovely little place that I've been going to on and off for years. The staff are professional and helpful and you can go in on your own and chat to someone. Unfortunately the hole in the ceiling at the back let's the place down.
As circus performers who have been fortunate to travel across the globe, we recently had the joy of participating in Brighton Fringe for the first time, with United Queendom Show. After the Show, our hearts yearned for a local pub where we could unwind and connect with the authentic spirit of the ci
An Aladdin's cave of a venue which unfolds with classic British boozer charm the moment you step through the door into its atmospheric folds. Fabulous array of beers, wines and beverages and classic pub food. Loads of nooks and crannies to suit most party size and needs and a flow of happy punters.
Lovely welcoming pub .. you certainly enter as a stranger but leave as a friend, not a pub to be a wallflower ..you get out of the experience for what you put in ....you talk, then the locals chat back ...sit and gaze into oblivion then donā€™t expect to many laughs in return . Conversation is a tw
There is no food. Bartender is very friendly. Lives up to the smallest LGBT bar. With good drinks
What an amazing find. On our way back to where we were staying tucked down a road we saw a tiny pub and popped in for one. We left 4 hours later a little worse for wear. The regulars were really lovely and the manager behind the bar was such a lovely guy. We managed to fill our loyalty card twice an
It was an amazing night. Very friendly place and staff. If you want a good relaxing fun night. Highly recommend. A save space for everyone and very kind. No pretentiousness just a relaxing environment
Good pint in a local pub. They werenā€™t serving food That day, but I had a good time. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Coming to Brighton for a day trip from London, my friend, the journalist from Inpark Magazine suggested we stop by this gay (friendly) bar, for one last drink before we left Brighton this evening. The patrons , bar tender, and the drag queen, were so friendly. We had a great time. Definitely, a must
