I recently dined at [A Taste of Sahara] and was thoroughly impressed by the diverse range of Moroccan, Lebanese, and Iranian cuisine on offer.
The ambiance was delightful, and the service truly stood out. Our Waitress demonstrated exceptional skill, seamlessly managing both taking orders and serving food herself. It was evident that she was knowledgeable and passionate about the cuisine, enhancing our dining experience.
Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend [A Taste of Sahara] to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Halal Middle Eastern cuisine.
We got here about 4pm and we're the only 2 people inside. But we didn't care at all! The decor is gorgeous and reminded us of our travels through the middle east and north Africa.
The manager was amazing and went up and beyond!
Food was gorgeous 😍 he gave us recommendations and they didn't disappoint.
We will be back!
A small and cosy restaurant in the middle of Brighton - although it has to be said it was a little cold inside, could’ve done with the heating being turned on.
Anyway, the food was cooked to perfection; the meats in the tagines were juicy and tender and the kofta was perfectly cooked, without being dry.
The buttery rice was such a lovely and perfect accompaniment to the dish in the cold water, every mouthful was warming.
Dessert could’ve been better; the baklava was too dry and personally not to my liking.
But if you like Mint tea, then you’ll love their offering! Served up in authentic crockery with fresh mint leaves, it was the perfect end to a fabulous meal.
Highly recommended and will be visiting soon again.
Sahara was where my niece had her wedding event. It was an excellent choice as the restaurant was spacious, the staff were friendly and the food delicious. Sahara's portions were generous and competitively priced. We chose to have Sahara's Meze, which is a selection of different individual dishes served on large plates and ideal as a vegetarian option. For those who appreciate interior design, Sahara's decor is absolutely stunning and together with the tasteful background music created the right ambience. For weddings or events of any kind, I would strongly recommend you book Sahara!
Loved the grilled seabass. Next time I will go straight to main dish to share and order little side dishes . We ended ordering too much with the mezze for 2 and it had the same patatoes as the fish, and a tagine with couscous . We were 3. The mezze is a bit expensive for what it is Perhaps suits a bigger group although is 2 of each. Good atmosphere, music and service.
Great atmosphere in this lovely restaurant - we booked after seeing reviews online and we’re so glad we went. The food tasted so fresh and delicious - we shared falafel for starter, then had a mixed kebab each and shared bread. Everything was great portions and the staff were so friendly! It was BYOB which we liked, would highly recommend
Beautiful cousin. If you are looking for food made with love, fresh ingredients and great flavors you must try this restaurant. We have had our Christmas lunch here, which was a buffet and it was DELICIOUS. Great choice for vegetarians too. They do not sell alcohol but you can bring your own. We definitely need to go back to try their a la cart menu.
Had dinner there. As it was on valentines day, there was a set menu. The full platter starter was amazing and the main chicken skewers was very good. Service was amazing. Only problem was the coke I had was full of of ice and barely any coke in it. Other than that would definitely recommend for a dinner there!
We had a great dinner at this restaurant. I would highly recommend to try. The food was delicious 🤤 beautiful and calm atmosphere. And very friendly customer service. Saalih (owner of the restaurant) was well respected person and tried to provide assistance a lot. Apart from kebabs, i really liked the samosa and felafel.
Lovely experience. Staff were super friendly and great, I have to be honest, the only slight let down was our food did not taste as amazing as all the review put it. I came in with an expectation of re-tasting the tagine from my marrakesh trip, it was lovely but not as flavourful.
Would still recommend, but I hope my experience helps you set your expectation so you will enjoy your visit 🙂
