Joe's bar and grill is an old styled restaurant located at Oxford. Located right in middle of summer-town and on the Banbury road, it is very easily accessible. It has very simple decors and very friendly staff. We had a vegetarian friend accompanying us, and the lady made all attempts so that my friend can find a dish suitable for his preference. In fact when he ordered dessert, she rushed in to warn that it contained egg.
We ordered asle, and lemonade, burger and fish and chips. The fish and chips was very good, with the chips being chunky, crispy on outside and soft inside. The tartar sauce accompanying it was aptly made. With a sprinkle of malt vinegar, it was very good. I ordered passion fruit brûlée for dessert. It was little too sour and tangy for my taste.
It's not too hard on the pockets, the food is above average, and too top it, the staff are very friendly.
Şarap ve kokteyl menusu çeşitli. Eton mess'i güzeldi. Bu ingilizlerin çilekli kremalı bir tatlısı. Hafif ve hoş. Denemenizi tavsiye ederim. Ortamın karakteristik bir yapısı yoktu ama yine de akşam yemeği için hoş bir yer. Burada jazz akşamları olduğunu duydum. Hem onu görmeyi hem de yemeklerini tatmayı isterim.
Had breakfast at Joe's this morning. Was delicious, all very flavorful. Lovely friendly staff, nice local feel to the place. Would definitely recommend it for a full English - greasy or healthy both are catered for!
Family business, locally sourced food.
Classic place, with a little garden at the back, strong coffee and flavourful. Several all day breakfast options! Big portions (hash dishes could be shared if you are not so hungry!)
It’s not in a busy area but the place can get really busy with locals, so that tells you all!
We had the best breakfast with my family! They made special milkshakes for them and even gave them some colouring! The breakfast was great and my husband loved his coffee!! Will definitely be back with friends!!
Best cafe in Brighton by a mile! Honestly kept us going during lockdown. Awesome value, delicious breakfasts with local ingredients. Can’t recommend highly enough !!
I came there to try the English Breakfast during my holidays.
Top quality food and very kind staff. ❤️
Fab breakfast/brunch here. Set us up for the day walking into Brighton. I had the Le Hash (Right of picture) Husband the Spanish. Nice strong tea.
Cute little cafe with a simple menu and relaxed vibes. Good for a variety of breakfast options. I ordered breakfast #1 which was sausage, bacon, beans, egg and toast and it was very tasty. I also ordered a decaf coffee with oatmilk which was nice. My partner ordered the veggie hash which was huge and also super yummy. We weren't served for a while but managed to order at the till in the end. It's good that there's a condiments box on each table so you don't need to ask for ketchup or brown sauce. Be aware of the more limited opening hours. Definitely worth a visit in you're in that locale. Enjoy.
Lovely cafe with friendly staff in welcoming suburban neighbourhood. The food was tasty but if you are going for the Hashmageddon be aware that it’s huge and probably big enough for two. Slight concerns around food waste are the only reason I wouldn’t give this place five stars.
Lovely little spot! Staff were really friendly and sweet, and the breakfast & coffee were delicious, well priced and served quickly. I highly recommend!
Great food and delightful service. I had the smashed avocado with fresh chilis on sourdough toast and a side of bacon, fresh squeezed orange juice and they gladly provided this American ice in his water. Lisa and my server were both friendly and charming and made me feel very welcome. Stephen the seagull watched over me as I had my after breakfast Americano at a table out front. Will definitely go back once more before leaving Brighton. Vegan & Gluten free options available too. Highly recommend!
