Bus Stop - Brighton - Photo album

My partner and I came here for lunch, as we were really in the mood for some Caribbean food. This place is an absolute gem. Service was quick, even though all the tables had punters, and both drinks and food came quickly. I had the vegetarian “Rasta plate”, while my partner opted for fried chicken,
The Bus Stop was a fantastic find just outside the lanes. I had probably the best fried chicken in my life. Not overly battered and yet still crispy. And wow the hot sauce they have is amazing. Just the right amount of heat and flavour. I also chose the Mac and Cheese bake which was soo good! My hus
There was live music when we arrived in the form of a steel drummer. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was great. I especially loved the Pholourie with mango chutney. There isnt any street parking if you're driving, but there is a car park not too far from the restaurant if you l
Amazing home cooked Carribean food in a friendly, bright environment. Highly recommend the jerk chicken and rum punch, my partner had Cajun fish and said it was delicious. It's time to support small start ups like this, especially when they are cooking at this level of tasty! Go now you won't be dis
This Carribean restaurant serves some really nice food. The fried Bajan chicken is amazing! The dal was something similar to the dal from the Indian cuisine, but the rotis are super filling and tasty.
It was quick dinner experience for us. Burger was huge, and has an exotic flavour because of sauce and plantain I guess. But £10 is a bit expensive for burger with no fries. Anyway service was fine.
Hands down the most authentic Jamaican meal I've had in the longest time. It was my husband's birthday and even though it was the middle of the week, in the afternoon, service was exceptional. Incredible varieties of alcohol and the rum was exquisite. A must visit if you're in Brighton, super delici
Bus stop is amazing! The cocktails are so good and the food is just ace. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Absolutely love it!
I love this place!! Went on a date for my birthday. The cocktails are pretty strong and the food comes fairly spicy. The house hot sauce is so good! I had the chicken roti which was huge and really good. The plantain is deep fried which I haven't had before but its good. You don't need to order a lo
Food was really delicious, will definately be returning. Price is a tad bit high, but can be looked passed for the great experience and excellent service 😊
Fantastic authentic bajan food, staff and owner is great and welcoming
I wanted to come here for a while and last night I had my friends from London come visit ( short notice ). I thought I will book here so.. I booked for 4 but ended up having 6 which was not easy for any restaurant to accommodate on a Friday night! But the lovely owner was more than happy to help and
Absolutely delicious! We had the special which comes with little versions of everything. The macaroni pie and the salt cod fishcakes were my favourite but it was hard to pick. Everything is fresh and tasty and I was really happy to pay a very reasonable price for two with drinks. Loved it !
Absolutely incredible food, very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Were willing to squeeze us in on a Saturday night last minute and absolutely did not disappoint. Cocktails are also fantastic and would recommend trying rum on the rocks! 10/10 will come again, highly recommended.
Amazing food and amazing taste. My only comment is that on some of the days, some items on the menu aren’t available. I feel like it should just be available all days of the week. I think the roti and a curry dish should always be available options since alot of people go for that experience
I was looking forward to visiting this lovely place after hearing great feedback from friends, and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the chicken roti on recommendation from the guy who served me (both members of staff very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly). Although a little pricey, I couldn't arg
Had an amazing meal and cocktails here last night. The staff knew the the menu inside out and were able to help me on tings I didn't know. And it was so SCRUMMY! Had a fair few rum cocktails with it too. The setting and layout is atmospheric from top to tail, even the loos give an authentic Caribbe
Great little place. Food was full of flavour and plenty of it! Great service too 👍
Impressive food, great large portions,. the star of the show for me was the Bajan fish cakes but nowhere near enough could have eat them all night long 👍,. my lady and myself being Caribbean was very impressed with the food. I am ultra critical so my criticism is a tad more seasoning on the Fried Ch
