Fish cooked beautifully. You choose fried, grilled or poached. I had the special grilled and loved it. All five of us very happy. Some veggie options. Beer wine and spirits. Call ahead to be sure of a table, but walk-ins available.
Great restaurant! I liked the option to have grilled or poached fish, as sometimes you don’t fancy batter. It was delicious. And the service was very good too.
Went on Saturday night with a toddler and a baby. Staff couldn't have been any more accommodating. The food was incredible. I had haddock and chips with a side of curry sauce while the toddler had fish bites chips and beans. The haddock was probably one of the best I've had in a long time and si
Fantastic fish and chips with curry sauce and mushy pees. In fairness, I don’t know what constitutes good mushy pees, but they were radioactive green, had the consistency of baby food and tasted like peas so I assume they were good. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and the chips were 10
Truly authentic fish and chips experience. Fantastic and friendly service. Prices are a little high but prices are rising everywhere and for a sit down service, with this quality, it was worth it. My German, Chillean and Italian colleagues were impressed too, which made my day.

When I say 'Do you fancy fish?' I'm really saying 'Shall we go to the Regency?', when I say 'Shall we go to The Level?', I'm really saying 'Grab the bongos and the Fire Poi'. When I say 'Fish and Chips?', I'm really saying 'Bardsleys?'. Over the years, I've sat inside and eaten from shiny plates, I'
Really tasty old school fish & chips. Warm friendly service for sit in at one of their chunky pine tables, or get it to go. The batter is thick and crispy, and the chips are nice and chunky.
Fantastic fish and chips, best I’ve had in a while and definitely the best in the city of Brighton. The batter is nice, flakey, and crispy and the fish is super fresh - you can see the chef cutting each piece fresh before cooking and frying. The ladies serving here are absolutely sweethearts and you
