Great staff, portions big enough for 100kg man, every bit of food is tasty, loved the omelettes, toasted bread and poached eggs, hollandaise sauce made to order also good, fast service and nice garden. I ate 3 breakfast there and everytime everything was just as it should be. If I ever go back to Brighton, I am sure I will drop by.

Great satisfaction Tranquil lunch stop out on the back patio area. Very good food and service from the owner. A good option in an area where you are spoilt for choice.

Fantastic spot for the all day breakfast. Very tasty food (our table had both the meat and vegetarian options) and the staff was so friendly. Will definitely come back here again!

Ever so friendly and worked hard to please. My wife and I had different breakfasts to one another. They were both nice but very dry. The toast was more like biscuit. It wouldn't put me off going back. I would just add beans or mushrooms, or just ask for some butter.

Had tokens to have breakfast here whilst staying at the Nineteen down the road. I have to say it's probably the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. Really good quality food cooked really well and the staff were all really nice. Highly recommended, go and visit!

found this little place by off chance and it was lovely. Wonderful welcoming staff and the food was amazing. And was so nice to be able to sit in the sun in the garden and enjoy it. Will definitely be going back again.

Uber cool, breakfast, brunch and lunch. No excuses - a must visit! Great food, great service, and a laid back atmosphere. There is little to disappoint. A wide variety of coffees and teas are on offer. Good selection of smoothies, Acai being a pleasant surprise (if a bit pricey). The emphasis is on what I would call 'clean ' food - E.g. your breakfast will not arrive swimming in grease. This is not a typical greasy spoon - far from it.

They do one of my favourite scrambled eggs in Brighton. Nice, fresh and delicious. Good prices as well. Recommended for breakfast for sure. The staff has been very nice as well, so I have been there few times.

Went here for the first time today. Really nice menu, very reasonable prices, hearty portions, friendly and efficient staff, our lunches were lovely and the other dishes coming out the kitchen looked great! For a city full of cafés I often struggle to think of somewhere I really like, however Morris and Jacques ticks all my boxes so I will definitely be coming back and telling others about it. Spot on!

Been coming here practically daily after gym for over a year now. We used to come here every time we visited Brighton before we moved here. Food is healthy and always good you can always have variations of the menu nothing is too much for them. Very friendly staff and regulars real community feel.

Excellent place. The breakfast was very high quality, as was the coffee. Services else is quick and the staff are very friendly. There's also a nice outdoors area out back. Definitely worth checking this place out.

Lovely little cafe restaurant in Kemp Town serving a good selection of food, coffee etc. The staff are really friendly and it has a very warm atmosphere. The vegetarian platter is a gem of a meal. Highly recommended.

Good coffee, great all-day menu with lovely bread and cheeses, in particular, and a real sunspot of a garden hidden out the back. Only bad thing is that it closes at 3pm. My favourite placebfor coffee along st james st.

Stumbled across this discrete Cafe one evening on what happened to be their first night serving dinner. The food was nothing short of amazing and worth a lot more than what we paid for it, eclipsing far pricer restaurants within the area. The service was outstanding and made our night, the waitress was warm and welcoming and ready to chat and had a keen eye for when to interrupt and when not too. The Cafe has an unpretentious appearance but the service, food and presentation belongs straight in a 3 star restaurant (or really it should have its own classification of 5 stars) All in all an amazing gem, we just hope that next time we can get a table as we can see this will be the new hot spot.
