I have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in Brighton, with Chinese people, and China Garden is one of the best in town.
The place is very big, we always get a table!
The waiters are really nice and speak very well!
The food is all amazing and there’s a lot of offer! It’s closer to real Chinese food and not what we westerns think Chinese food is. The place is perfect to order several dishes and share!
I’ve been back once and will keep going back definitely!
Awesome food. Loved the duck and pancakes they served and the pork dishes. Love to visit again. The staff are really nice and cordial. the dim sums were nice and soft too.
We accidentally walked pass this restaurant. The food is superb and so their service. Must be the best Chinese food so far for this year UK trip. Will come back again.
The most shocking thing about this restaurant is how fast the food arrived. I went here as part of a 5-person group and we all ordered a main and a side. We expected to wait more than the 5-10 minutes it actually took the food to arrive.
The portion sizes can be bigger than you'd expect, as some of the bowls/plates are deeper than you might think.
The prices are slightly above average, but they match the quality of the food. The staff were super friendly as well.
Although dim sum prices are abit expensive compared to what we are used to in London/ China Town, the quality of the food is fairly good and I guess that’s the price you have to pay for having Chinese outside of London where it’s more expensive? The dim sum are around £5.20 each dish, but they do have a big variety of dim sum though so that’s really good. Their noodles and rice dishes look nice too.
Value for money: 6.5/10
Food: 7/10

Stopped in for a late dinner, not knowing where to go. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, (not smothered in sugar, oil, or cornstarch), and the attentiveness of the service. Pleasantly surprised by a really excellent meal and good value for money too, walked (or waddled) out highly content and congratulating ourselves on an excellent choice.
Services have improved dramatically in the last 6 months, friendly and right amount of attentiveness.
Great Cantonese DIM SUM and dishes.
I was surprised to see a good enough dimsum restaurant in this seaside town. The standard of food is high and authentic. Real feel of HK Cantonese dimsums and dishes.
Come here regularly for a Friday night treat. Amazing chicken satay and dim sum! Great attentive service especially a waitresse called May, she is very friendly and is interested in the customers and gets to know them personally which is such a lovely touch. Staff are always checking up.on you to see if you need water topped up and feedback about the food. All round excellent 👌
First time of visiting, it was so nice to have a traditional meal with dishes served throughout the course. Food is really tasty. The service was really friendly. Very enjoyable evening.
I loved the dim sum here. My children loved it too. The staff were so helpful and came to check on me & my kids many times (as they could see I had a lot on my hands) which was so thoughtful.
All in all, I had a wonderful experience here. My only gripe is that there are a lot of steps inside: lots of tables on different levels but this is minor.
Great location by the seafront, good food and nice ambience. Staff is warm, helpful and efficient. There is enough seating, and the toilets are very clean. The food itself was delicious, good portions and spice was just right. Prices are reasonable for the location and good value for the quality. Was nice to the staff still maintains COVID precautions
