Five Stars, The food was very good. The bottomless battered Baja fish tacos were phenomenal. I enjoyed conversing with the service staff, and I felt that they were very friendly. The music was good and the restaurant has a nice ambience. I asked for a cup of ice and he brought me a glass of ice. I asked for a water with lemon or lime with ice and he brought me a glass of water with ice with lime and a straw. They did not complain about me bringing in my own beverage. They took my payment at the table. They did not badger me for a tip. All in all- it was an excellent experience for lunch, and I am certain that it would be great for breakfast or for dinner as well. If you are staying at the hotel Selina next-door, then you will get a 10% off discount if you wear your wristband. Will taste again. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Clearly the chef knows what they are doing. My gf brought me here saying I would have liked it... I absolutely loved it. Tlaloc went up to one of my favourite mexican in Brighton. Make sure to get a table by the window as the room can get quite warm very quickly. Great and friendly service! Can't wait to be back!!!!

Went for a birthday meal for two. Atmosphere was fantastic with good, upbeat music. Staff super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Service was excellent. The food itself was great. Very very tasty. Portion size I felt could have been a touch bigger but I love big food! More veggie options would have been nice but the ones I had were really fantastic. Great cocktails too.

After seeing an article in the Metro speaking so highly of this restaurant, from it's authentic food to homely, sustainable decor, I was tempted to try it myself. The location is great. Set on the Brighton sea front, you're immersed in the scenic atmosphere by the shore, with the famous 'Upside down house' right in your eye-line. The service from all members of staff was top class. Our server 'Diana' did an excellent job of making us feel welcome, she offered service with a smile. She was patient, knowledgeable and kindly talked us through the menu which encouraged us to try new foods we otherwise may have missed out on. The food and drinks were fresh, flavoursome and served quickly. Perfectly spot for some authentic Mexican food on the Brighton seafront. We ordered the octopus tacos and Full Mexican Breakfast. The tacos were a tasty treat and the 'Full Mexican Breakfast' which we had as a lunch dish was well cooked and surprisingly filling. The lemonade in particular was a great choice for a hot summers day, it was freshly squeezed. A refreshing alternative to your standard soft drinks. We're not even local, we travelled for 2 hours to get there, but would definitely go back again. From the food, to the service and attention to detail in the interior design, the place really was 'worth the hype'. 10/10 would most definitely recommend.
