Wow wow wow! We ate the vegan set menu even though one of us isn't a vegan. The food was beautiful to look at, the most incredible symphony of flavours and delivered at a comfortable speed to allow you to savour each wonderful dish. The restaurant was attractive, the staff really friendly and profes
Lovely restaurant! Small and cozy, amazing and fresh sushi. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Wanted to try the ginger cheesecake, unfortunately it wasn't available so went for the orange and chocolate cake(hope I'm not mistaken) which was really nice! Added bonus: the chopsticks are wrap
Had a dinner here, foods and drinks are impressive. My unagi don (grilled eel with eel sauce and rice) is very well cooked. Also, love the origami (paper folding) before the meal. Highly recommended.
The Tofu Teriyaki and the Tempura were fantastic, some of the best I ever had. Loved the Japanese lemonade (although it's extemely artificial), and the staff was very nice and helpful.
Very friendly staff and great fresh food. We had a sushi platter and tofu teriyaki washed down with some lovely hot sake. It was delicious. Definitely recommend.
Had a fabulous meal here last night. Don't do reviews very often but felt compelled to do one. The service was excellent, the decor great and most importantly the vegan meal we chose was absolutely fantastic!! Will definitely be back, so often disappointed when I eat out but really really enjoye
If you are in Brighton and you love Sushi or Japanese in general you should definitely eat here. The food is so good, very fresh and tasty. The waiter / waitress is always extremely friendly. Such a nice and welcoming place. I will eat here many more times to come.
Dropped in on the off chance that they would have a table for two before going to see a show at the theatre next door. It looks like the rest of Brighton had a similar idea and beat us to it - but we were greeted warmly by one of the waitresses who took our name down and invited us to have a few dri
Had a nice evening here on a trip to Brighton. It was nice and quiet and the selection of cocktails were interesting. Had an outside area with a view over the street below which was fun. If you're in Brighton on holiday I'd recommend dropping I'm here for some after dinner drinks.
We came just at close so we were glad that they seated us. The food was excellent and fairly priced. I ordered the sashimi (small mixed) and the edamame. It was very fresh and perfectly portioned. I was surprised it didn't come with wasabi.
Great find for quality sushi and upon. Perfect place to relax with friends, while enjoying your meal with one of numerous kinds of Saki and working on your origame skills. Make sure to read the story of the place and its ethos on the menu for an even more present, pleasant experience.
Friendly and varied Japanese restaurant. This is an accessible and friendly Japanese restaurant that spans a number of styles (sushi/bento) and both build-your-own options and western-style 2 or 3 course 'settings'. Saki list is interesting plus there are Japanese wines , shochu and soft drinks fr
Coming here gave me a nice, warm feeling. The prices are high but that's like most places in Brighton because they can get away with it. Even so, I thoroughly enjoyed a glass of tap water with some delicious food. My only two complaints are the extortionate prices, and the wasabi wasn't hot enough t
I think we were at the soft opening of the place. Cocktails and appetizers were delicious. But, the basement bar was really loud, making it tough to talk. Next time we'll try the upstairs dining room.
This is an excellent if slightly expensive Japanese restaurant with a slightly cliquey bar on another level.
