I have driven past this place a number of times on the way into Brighton however I stopped this morning and glad I did. The staff were very warm and welcoming and the service was very quick. A great selection of breakfast items on the menu and they also include tea or coffee. I went for the big breakfast and was not disappointed. It set me up for the day

Old style independent diner on the A23, close to Brighton. Free parking but don’t miss the turn into the lay-by. Authentic diner decor inside. Would actually detour to come here rather than go to a chain. It’s a shame that we have lost so many of these independent eateries over the years - they deserve to be supported. Great value breakfast. Portion size was good. Bacon was particularly tasted and so were the sausages. It’s a shame they brought me mushrooms when I ordered baked beans. Otherwise can’t be faulted. And just like Arnie - I’ll be back!

It hasn't got a Michelin star but what a lovely place. Overlooked by the majority and wrongly so. We'll worth a visit for the occasional fried breakfast, of which there is a great choice and good value. I went with my son and we were warmly welcomed so don't be put off if you think it's only for truckers. The coffee was good and I love coffee. Just like the figure that stands by the door - I'll be back.

Been here many times just for the little fried potatoes and made special journeys to get there, all cooked fresh in front of you, the menu is quite extensive so theres lots to choose from to help the hunger pains, well worth a stop on the A23 coming into Brighton.

Stoped here on the12th Dec as was advised that the diner was a good place to stop off ..on the way to Brighton... we had the full breakfast BUT the plates were cold so the food (eggs) and ( fried bread) got cold real quick ...no excuse not to have the plates over the hob to keep warm..."one previous review stated the fried bread was greasy" & it was . so that got left on the Cold plate... the rest of the food stayed warm enough to eat saussages.. toms . Hash browns ..toast..and and very good coffee .the only thing was that fried bread and cold plate hence only 4 out of 5

Found this little cafe whilst leaving Brighton, stopped for a coffee and a small bite. Food was good quality, lovely taste of coffee and sausages tasted great! Nice retro decor and polite staff. Thankyou 🙂

Mixed views, sure its a heart attack on a plate sort of place, and Breakfast is a good choice or a evening meal with your friends. Maybe not a place to visit too often.
