Definitely 5 stars! What a wonderful restaurant in the centre of Brighton! We stopped for a dinner and had the most lovely time ever. Service was impeccable, as was food served and cocktails (so pretty and delicious!). Staff was very smiling, which was definitely a plus! I loved the interiors and the cutlery! I cannot recommend this place more when visiting Brighton!

This is a fantastic spot for dinner. The ambiance is pretty cool and there is definitely a modern R&B kick to the music when we visited. Seated downstairs the tables were spaced out well and there are a couple of TV's showing photos of menu items (no descriptions on the screen as to the dish though) Ordering is done by writing against the menu which they then bring back to you. Only issue is for me was that I didn't know what a dish was and there was no picture on the paper menu and as mentioned although there ARE pictures on the TVs, I was still mystified in some cases. Nothing Google and an explanation from my wife didn't solve but maybe linking it up a little might be cool. Anyway I digress. The food is excellent. We shared a bunch of different menu items as can be seen. Duck Curry was amazing as were the tacos. Scallops were ok. Loved the tempura roll, came out at the perfect temperature and wasn't at all oily or fatty and the batter was light and airy. Definitely think you should try it out if you don't just want sushi rolls but fancy some hot options.

Daaaamn. How had we not been here before? The food is like izakaya style - Japanese bar. Lots of little yakitori bbq skewers to share, well-made cocktails and insane Japanese cakes.

Very good Japanese tapas restaurant in Brighton Preston Street. This is a good quality restaurant located in the heart ot Brighton's food district. Well spaced tables for Covid19 and order by forms minimum contact. Great cocktails too and the service I received was excellent. Great menu with lots of choices and nice decor.

Oh, this place gets full marks! Very courteous service start to finish, all staff are so attentive and friendly and really made me feeo welcome. The food was absolutely stunning, freshly made and well presented. What a treat! Especially loved the Matcha mille crepe cake, a beautiful and delicious dessert! Completely loved my evening here, thank you so much!

Went into Kujira blind without knowing what what to expect. Turns out it’s a brilliant little Japanese restaurant. The menu focuses on a sharing idea and serves lots of mini dishes (like Spanish tapas) so you can try a little bit of everything which we loved. Food was fantastic and the meats all seemed to be top quality and cooked to perfection. If you fancy a taste of Japan I would try it out!

Great atmosphere and the service was excellent. The dishes were beautifully presented but the flavours did not quite hit the spot for my pallet.

Chill atmosphere, helpful staff, really nice food! Abit procy for the quantity but the flavours were insane so we loved the food! The cocktails were all very different, I had the passion fruit one which was very very good! Make sure you go during happy hour as its two for one... really liked the salmon tacos! Definitely will be returning ☺ hope to go back and try the karaoke 🥰
