Such a yummy veggie ramen! ☺️ I ordered the veggie miso ramen and it was so flavorful and tasty. I also tried some of the broth of the spicy chicken tantanem ramen and it was incredible. The spicy steamed chicken gyozas were so delicate and came it a really yummy crunch onion oil. We ordered spicy but nothing really was. That would be the only improvement i could say. Will be coming back!
Really tasty deep flavored broth with spicy chicken mince. Wasn't too keen on the sweet corn or wilted spinach but was pretty nice all together. The staff are laid back and friendly. Food came out super quick as well.
Small Restaurant with a nice interior. Food is very very delicious. We liked it very much. The service was very fast and friendly. The food looked very goog and was very good and soooooooooooooooo YUMMY and tasty.

Its a typical restaurant which is hidden in the streets of Brighton. The restaurant is quite small but the restaurant is design for quick grab and eat. It is excellent for having lunch or quick bowl of ramen. The services is really quick and friendly. The food is cooked infornt of you if you stay at counter or there is sitting area below the restaurant which can fit about 3-4 groups. The flavour is not quite there yet as traditional Japanese food but I did enjoyed the food and time.
This is my trusted ramen place, it has good ramen at a good price, the service is very fast and the food is delicious, since I discovered it with my family I always come here to eat whenever I go to Brighton.
The food was absolutely delicious - so flavourful and very generous portion! Also arrived hot and fresh within 10 minutes of ordering.
The owner was so kind and friendly - he even catered to my vegetarian companion by giving her vegetarian gyoza to sample 😊 he also pre calculated our bill and wrote it down so we didn't have to calculate it ourselves ❤ very thoughtful!
The venue is also very nice with typical wooden bar and stoors but there is also a seat in area in the lower floor.
I will definitely be coming back for reasonable prices, delicious umami and amazing persinal service! Thank you Shogun Ramen!
Very authentic and very VERY reasonably priced. Especially for Brighton. Really flavourful food and a nice calming atmosphere.
I can attest that the chicken Katsu and the pork Katsu curries are divine.

Prawn katsu were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect prawn kutsu I must say. Curry was real great as well, rich texture and so tasty. I tried ramen once, and didn't like it so this time I tried curry and I LOVE IT. So I would recommend curry for sure. 😂
However, that chicken stick wasn't my favourite at all. Such a shame 😗
Such good Ramen! Literally the best I’ve tasted anywhere. Service was a little lacking, staff seemed to not be too interested. That is apart from the older gentleman that was cooking the night we were there. You could taste how much he cared.
Would have been five stars but the front of house staff let it down.
A wonderful restaurant. Had the most delicious miso ramen, sweet and perfectly spicy. Bring your friends!
