Vas helped arrange Afternoon Tea for 22 rowdy hens. He was lovely, helpful and accommodating throughout the weeks/days leading up. We had the venue to ourselves and Vas let us bring our own prosecco for the added touch. The food was delicious and the cakes were to die for, anything that didn't get eaten Vas popped in a goody bag for us to take away. I would highly recommend Talk of Tea. Thank you Vas

I had afternoon tea with a friend at Talk of Tea. Our high tea was lovely. The cafe has a range of delicious cakes including gluten free and vegan. It is a hidden gem in Brighton!

I took my mum here for her birthday. A quaint, cosy tea shop. Ticked away just off of Western Road, Brighton. Email communications with Miriam was easy and informative. I had a few queries and requests and she was able to accommodate them. The young lady working on the day was friendly and inviting. She could describe the tea selection very well. The tea was delicious and the free refills (if you choose the same tea) is great on a chilly October afternoon! It was a lovely afternoon and my mum absolutely loved her birthday treat! Thank you!

New owner, completely new style. Clean and efficient, replacing 'warm and cosy'. Still the great choice of teas but no longer served loose. The food is home-made. Simple menu. Lovely patio out back. Friendly. I go for the tea and a nice place to relax - especially outside.

Small but lovely tea house in Brighton, nice decoration. There is outdoor seating too. Too big afternoon tea set for 2 persons, I think it could share for 4. There is variety of tea.

First choice of afternoon tea place when my friends visit me in Brighton. Cozy little place with tasty scone (especially their clotted cream).

Warm and friendly staff, cosy and comfortable place, fairly small, therefore intimate, it feels a bit like being home. There are pages and pages of tea selection and the staff is happy to make recommendations based on your tastes. They are very attentive too and if your order seems a bit off, they'll double check with you. No pressure to consume more and very affordable prices. You can also buy tea, a very good gift idea.

I arranged afternoon tea with a friend. I'd emailed Miriam beforehand as I was after a vegetarian and gluten free option. When we arrived Miriam was lovely, explaining that the sandwiches hadn't been prepared yet (we were early) and let us know what she had planned for the fillings, giving us an option to change if we wished, but all sounded good to me. There is a big range of teas to choose from and all sounded lovely. The sandwiches were good and scones still lovely and warm. The cost was a winner as a lot of afternoon teas in the area are costly for what you get. Perfect afternoon. Thank you!

It is GORGEOUS! Just wonderful! Over 60 blends, coming from all over the world, to choose. Martina was very helpful, kind and very knowledgeable about blends and teas. Highly recommendes for an afterboon tea for sure. An hidden gem in the heart of Brighton!

Miriam is truly wonderful. The food was stunning and the setting was just perfect. This is our 2nd time in brighton and we would have come here a million times before if we had known about this place. We will definitely be back. Thank you miriam Xx
