I was resigned to the fact that England is full of rubbish coffee and people who are happy to drink it. It was nice to find a place that shows respect for the growers by sourcing and making great coffee.
The best coffee in Brighton. Real cool staff, a no rush kinda place.
There are many, many coffee shops in Brighton, from international chains to smaller chains such as the excellent Taylor St Baristas, to independent shops. If you are a coffee connoisseur, then a trip to Bond St. Coffee is a must: these folks take their coffee very seriously. Bond St. Coffee is an independent shop and is located (as the name suggests) in Bond Street in the North Laine. Their coffee is roasted by Horsham Coffee Roaster and they serve speciality coffees from around the world – the menu changes regularly. You will find expresso based drinks such as the Americano and wonderful long black and milk based espresso drinks such as latte and cappuccino on the menu. You can also have tea and hot chocolate too. They also serve a selection of cakes and pastries from local suppliers.
Such a great little cafe! The cappuccino was delicious and tasted like great quality! I didn’t try any, but the food look really yummy as well! The staff was also very kind!
What a fantastic experience. So welcoming atmosphere and that smell.... CINNAMON all over. I couldn't see at first which cake smell so divine 😍 drinking Brazilian roast coffee I spot customers next to our table eating beautiful CINNAMON BUN 😋😍 I knew then that was the smell which welcome us and I need to try it. Freshly baked with vegan cream on the side still warm. What else do you need to start your day with cup of coffee to complete all that experience. For sure one of the places to try when you travel to BRIGHTON. I'm sure we will visit you again no doubt🥰🥰🥰🥰
Had a chai latte, very expensive (£4) and not enough chai. Location and atmosphere both lovely and I'd try coffee but not chai again.
Cracking speciality coffee spot.
Coffee-wise they do aeropress, batch filter, and v60, as well as all the milky espresso favourites.
Delicious vegan sausage rolls and plenty of vegan and/or GF cake options. Their banana bread is great and packed with walnuts.
And their retail is also very welcomed, with everything from your daily necessities such as v69/aeropress filters, to kettles, books, brewers and of course specialty beans.
The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect.
Used to live in Brighton years ago this was then the best coffee and guess what it still is! Loved the notes in my mocha and me and my daughter had some of your lovely cinnamon buns! Just magic 🥰
Seriously the best coffee I have ever had. Ordered two flat whites which were so delicious that I had to try an espresso. That one blew my mind even more. The service was excellent. A must go when you visit Brighton!
I ordered pour over which takes a few minutes to prepare. Barista told me that if he'll have orders from other people he'll do that first and I'll need to wait longer(((
Why?
This cafe needs to either hire more employees or change its customer service policy. And I waited the longest for my banana bread (((( There were only a few customers in it.
Coffe that I ordered cost 7 pounds.
I like coffe there but I didn't meet such an attitude in other specialty coffee places.
Go for a v60, the Ethiopian one is so delicious😌😌
Fabulous wee coffee shop. I couldn't have chosen better, my pour over coffee was absolutely delicious, thank you for the great recommendation.
Always coming back for more (coffee). Love Bond St Coffee and their exquisite selection of coffee beans, and being able to choose which I want them to brew. My fave go-to place for flat whites in the North Laines!
