Necot is my favourite coffee shop in Kemptown. Not so pretentious as most of the other ones. Down to earth, super lovely and fun staff, great music and food. Good prices too! Love it!

I had the vegan breakfast; the scotch styled sausage and haggis were home made and very tasty - a greasy spoon with unique twist.

Friendly and cosy. Some places are all frills and no knickers. This place is genuine and although I’ve only been once I get a sense that it is reliable and unpretentious.

As someone who lives in the area but spends a lot of time away, this place is one of the reasons I love coming home. Still the best BLTs I have ever tasted and a warm welcome every time. As a dog lover, I love meeting their canine customers and the relaxed atmosphere always makes me smile.

Very comfortable. The staff make you feel at home & the food is amazing. So filling, even the salads. So nice to be made to feel at home & that nothing is too much trouble. Love coming here & I highly recommend it to anybody visiting Kemptown in Brighton. You won't be disappointed
