Had such a lovely visit to Sidewinder, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and service was excellent. We got drinks and food both of which were fresh and delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back to make the most of the huge garden and lovely atmosphere!
We enjoyed a delightful Sunday afternoon at Sidewinder, where we reserved a table for a group of 20 to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable, assisting us with decorations and displaying exceptional hospitality. The roast was not only delicious and left everyone with clean plates. The live music and ambiance added a magical touch to the entire occasion, ensuring that we all had an unforgettable time. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the entire Sidewinder team for making this day extraordinary!
A really great place to spend your Sunday. Roast was banging, I had the Pork TWO portions of Cauliflower cheese!! Get it booked and indulge.
The staff are also super lovely and ru helpful. We had a mixed table of adults and children and they met our needs effortlessly. Would highly recommend
I came to the sidewinder after work on a Friday. I was so impressed, we had drinks with friends in their huge garden and then we came inside and the DJ was playing amazing songs and the next thing we knew we were dancing til close. Would definitely recommend for a night out, so much fun!
Lovely lunch here. Just had the buffalo chicken burger and it was great. First time here, great selection of drinks on tap too. Definitely recommend
Impressed with this place after visiting for the first time. Good vibe, student/NHS discounts, attentive and friendly staff, great outdoor area with individual heated booths. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I am a disabled pensioner who struggles with mobility and stairs. I was desperate to use the toilet, but was informed that theirs could only be reached by stairs.
The staff member who spoke to me, actually took the time to explain the layout of 5 local pubs... and recommended one for having easy access to toilets. Unfortunately it was too far for me to walk and I settled on a nearby restaurant to help me.
The Sidewinder is a bright and airy hostelry and well worth a visit. Recommended for the more able bodied. Great staff.
Amazing view, facing the beach and pier. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Fish & chips are fresh and tasty, enjoyed it very much. I ordered the kids meal for half the price, which you will have to ask the staff (not shown on the wall menu).
The only downside is that you have to pay for the ketchup & mayonnaise (50p each)
We had a big family gathering for Sunday lunch on Sunday 24rd July. The food was sensational. I had the vegan nut roast. My husband had the pork. The biscoff dessert is the stuff of dreams!
The service was great. There was a high chair for the baby in the group. The pub has amazing outside spaces also. I noticed several dogs also so it is family friendly and dog friendly. I’ll be back!
Best pub in Brighton!!!!!! Had such a great time here, the food was incredible and the staff are even better. The new gaffer Sarah has done wonders with this pub, making it one of our fav places to go. It’s an amazing venue with a massive outdoor area with cover, so perfect for Summer or rainy days. Thank you for having us and for a 10/10 experience, we will be back!!!
