Had an amazing Sunday roast here with friends. Our waitress Fiona was exceptional, attentive and professional and made us feel so welcome.. And nothing was too much to ask of her.. We left with full bellies and good memories. Will definitely be back very soon.. Lovely homely place. Great food, fai
I visited this lovely pub on Sunday with my partner and as soon as I walked in, I felt like I was at home; such a warm, friendly and cosy environment! The decor is beautiful and tastefully done and it really compliments the venue. I loved the little seating area with the chesterfield sofas! šŸ˜ The ga
I recently visited with my partner for a Sunday roast. We were blown away by the stunning interior & cosy outdoor area. The bar staff and waitress service was fantastic and the food was out of this world, one of the best roasts weā€™ve had! Everything was cooked to perfection, and presented so nicely.
Lovely pub! First time there and will defo go there again. Great, attentive and friendly service from Kirkby. Really nice newly refurbished dining area. Noticed they have a lovely new beer garden at back. The lamb Sunday roast was excellent! The roast carrot, sweede mash, succulent lamb, and delicio
Is a lovely pub with a nice garden and friendly helpful staff. There were loads of kids there (40th bday) and plenty of space for them to run around. It was perfect for our 40th gathering. Amazing walls of flowers too. Gave me lots of ideas...
Booked a table here for Sunday lunch for 5 of us as it was Pride weekend and the pub is near to the park. Have to say the hosts made us incredibly welcome and the roast dinners were fab! Top marks for the amazing customer service and food! Would definitely visit again! Thanks!
Nice pub. Very friendly staff. Ok beer choice. Quite a bit of seating inside. A few chairs and tables out back. The food was very good. Simple but tasty. Bit of an older crowd but nice and relaxed. Good for a quite drink. Would definitely go back for another drink and maybe even food!
Walked in, totally unplanned, as our chosen Alcoholic Beverage Dispensing Establishment was having a Quiz Night (O the horroršŸ˜±) Very pleasantly surprised which, if you know me, is not my usual disposition. A large, comfortable bar with well-spaced tables, we were immediately greeted by a well-dres
Amazing place!! Everything is amazing! I had the best Sunday roast in here. Definitely would come back
Really friendly staff and a lovely big pub with beer garden just on the main road. I didn't get to try the food but definitely will next time.
A recent 'reno' has improved its already good looks, loving the gold and bottle green and brickwork. It was my favourite father's day dinner, good to see a choice of desserts. Always cross with myself to take the easy option of dining there, rather than cooking
Excellent Sunday lunch with a pint of best bitter. Had the leg of lamb which was lovely, cooked with a hint of pink. More than enough food with a huge Yorkshire pud on top. Lovely
Great food and fantastic attentive service by Kirkby. They really have got a winning formula here. If I had to come up with a slight minor it would be that the Motherā€™s Day meal was slightly smaller than the regular Sunday Lunch.
I'd say this is your typical pub. Reasonably good food and drinks. Not huge or extensive, but very adequate; a pleasant place to spend time with family or friends.
A lovely Sunday roast. And it was hot! And they brought extra gravy. Too often I've eaten luke warm food in pubs, but this was fresh and hot. There were 5 of us and all enjoyed their food. Will be back.
This is the best roast dinner I've had, it is absolutely delicious, the service is outstanding too... amazing place.
