I love this place! Fantastic fresh, locally caught fish. They pretty much offer what they catch that day, so it’s in season and sustainable. And it’s no more expensive than the supermarket.

Fantastic fresh fish caught locally. They will happily fillet and prepare everything for you and give advice and tips about how to get the most out of your fish. Crabs are prepared carefully - never any shell and deliciously fresh.
Great seafood salad. I like how simple the taste was. However, the octopus was soaked in vinegar and was too sour to eat. I finished it with toast and butter on to balance the sourness.
I love the seats right next to the shop. I enjoyed the food with amazing beach view.
I couldn't come to Brighton and not have some fresh shellfish! Stopped by on a lovely day and got a portion of the seafood mix (prawns, cockles, mussels, crab sticks, whelks...) and a portion of the baby octopus. You can choose different sauces but personally I think you can't beat salt and vinegar! Delicious, fresh and well priced. The lady behind the counter was very nice too. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Brighton!
Love their oysters! Very fresh. Beware of seagulls, they will definitely steal your food.

We visited Brighton for a few days just after half term, we were hoping to get oysters from Brighton Shellfish & Oyster Bar but they were closed and didn’t answer phone calls about opening hours, so didn’t get to go to them, but boy am I glad this was the case - because then we discovered Sea Haze.
My partner and I visited here twice and each visit was better than the last. We were served by the lovely Anouare and I cannot express how wonderful she is. She is informative, personable and best of all so friendly!
Both times we got some incredible oysters, they are so fresh, meaty, salty and even a little sweet and if you can get some wild ones, do it - they are absolutely delicious. Also try their prawns, crayfish, welks etc. It’s all so fresh and delightful, and even more so when you get to enjoy it by the sea. They have varied condiments too, which compliment the seafood greatly. All of these things are at such reasonable prices too, I couldn’t recommend it enough.
But I just want reiterate that Anouare made our experience so special, and so fun, she is wonderful and by default so is Sea Haze

Very fresh and yummy oysters, whelks, prawns with the seafront view of Brighton beach. £1.5 for each oyster, which is cheaper than £1.8 each at Brighton shellfish and oyster bar, another seafood bar nearby. I came back twice within a day as the oysters and whelks are so tasty and fresh.
Wonderful place at the beach with friendly staffs and fabulous seafood!
3 kinds of oysters are all amazingly fresh, sweet and savoury, and literally the best ones I've ever had (so I got a second round after finishing the first plate 💛
I couldn't have imagined that I would be able to eat whelk of such good quality here. In Korea, you'd have to pay 4-5 times the price for the same amount to taste such great quality. The crab and anchovy were also excellent.
I'm very careful where I buy seafood from due to the risk of food poisoning. Especially so on a hot summer's day.
They seemed responsible and the reviews are good.
I bought a couple of boys of oysters and they were very good.
What I really like is that they were very friendly and created a lot of goodwill which is why I'm writing this review.
Amazing and incredibly fresh oysters + prawns at just £1.5 each!!! Unbeatable price and really friendly service.
Stopped off here for some seafood, very nice whelks and mixed seafood delicious. We both sat down and enjoyed our seafood, lots of choice and prices reasonable. Drinks available. Friendly and helpful staff, could not fault the seafood we both had, clean and tasty. We have had seafood from here in the past again all good.
