Popped in just after opening time and ordered the beer battered halloumie and a pint. Found myself a table in a nook.
Service was friendly and the food was fantastic. Recommended.

Bobby & Merle are both warm and friendly bartenders that make it a great atmosphere. Highly recommend the Halloumi and hummus small plate! Plus, the music is always good.

Perfect vibe to catch some restbite from Brightons ice cold wind. Spacious, comfy seating. Great tunes. And the bar staff - Louis (?) and Bobby are probably the friendliest barmen in Sussex. Super welcoming and friendly, funny and considerate. 10/10 would come again.

Absolutely love coming here for their DELICIOUS vegan roast dinners on a Sunday. Honestly these roasts are the best vegan roast dinners I've ever tried (& I've tried a lot!) Every part of the dinner i.e. veg, potatoes, main etc always has such intense taste/flavour I don't know how the chef does it - incredible. The staff are consistently friendly & accommodating. Specific shout out to Flear & Bobby who are just so pleasant & lovely! Always a great atmosphere in the pub, dog friendly (yay!) Highly recommend visiting here!

We both enjoyed the Sunday chestnut mushroom wellington roast, especially as I’m not vegetarian. Plenty of veg and all really tasty. Lovely Olivia looked after us well. It was a pleasure to eat here and wish we’d had time to stay longer.

As a frequent customer, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is exemplar. The bar staff always give good recommendations, namely Josh who made me a good espresso martini the other night. However, they did remove the vegan pizzas from the menu.

Love the pub. Will certainly go back again. The Interior Design Master’s team from the TV show have done a great job especially the bar which looks amazing.
Great place to get some Gelato. Lots of seats inside and a friendly service.
