Love love love this pub! Finally a great little boozer in hove, the music is great, the choice of drinks is phenomenal the bar staff are friendly and the atmosphere great, I've been here on a Sunday, a Friday night and a Saturday afternoon and I couldn't recommend it more!!
Really lovely pub, been a couple times and wasn’t sure if it was dog friendly but when I turned up with my huge black lab on a busy Friday night they were totally doggy friendly and welcomed him with open arms bringing him a bowl of water as soon as we sat down! Very impressed it’s so nice to find somewhere that allows the dog and does nice drinks I love the weekly special Gins �
Favourite place for Sunday roast. Great atmosphere specially the Live Jazz band. Delicious food and great service. Having a reservation in the evening is a must to avoid disappointment.
Really liked it, good selection of ales and beers with a comfortable atmosphere. A pub to visit again.

'This modern-refurbished Laine chain pub gives a nod to England's traditional Gin palaces'
I discovered a bright, kid-friendly, modernised, open plan, hipster focused establishment at the Old Albion.
The chalk-written beer wall nicely highlights the beer options above a neat row of taps, however just because it’s written in chalk the options will most likely be focussed on Laine produce given that this is a Laine Pub Co establishment now.
If beer’s not your thing then the pub is now ‘gin obsessed’, according to their website, with more than 20 gins available. Well it is Hove after all.

I had the honour of entering this fine establishment and was shocked to the core at how incredible it is. I was so happy with my service that i physically was knocked off my feet and onto the floor, luckily Rosie was there to catch me (going above and beyond). It has now become my favourite place on earth and if i could i would love to live in the cellar so i can see Rosie every single day cause she is fab. Also my favourite drink is a tomato juice cocktail with pineapple slices in, and they do that here!
Found this great pub yesterday. Good range of local beers. A good vibe. Clearly very popular with locals which is a good sign.

Great atmosphere in this cozy, unique pub! Best place around for a G&T, massive selection to choose from. Amazing food on Fridays and Saturdays (the Philly cheese burger is a winner), as well as live jazz and a brilliant roast on Sunday afternoons! The staff are always a great laugh, especially Zuni 😎
A great selection of ales. A nice pub too. Usually busy at times when other pubs are empty. This is not a sports pub, so don't expect the telly, but because of that it has atmosphere and a great selection of local and unusual ales.
I was in Brighton for 9 days, and found myself returning to this lovely pub, 3 times! The food was so top notch tasty. Great vibe, friendly service, great gin selection. Attracts a nice crowd as well. If I lived here, it would be my local for sure!
came in and was greeted by the most welcoming staff and great atmosphere. Rosie made the night, with her kind smile and polite manner. will definitely be coming back again!!!
Great pub with wonderful ambience and a splendid selection of beer and ale. Staff helpful and friendly and even when busy the place never seems to feel crowded. Prices also good and reasonable so why not head into town and give it a go.
