Private hire for my party, it was great! And I love the old fashioned wood panelling and the friendly bar team.

We stopped here for a drink after a concert before heading back to our hotel. The barman was friendly (he complimented me on my choice of beer, which I think was the Best Bitter on hand pump) and the price was reasonable. The pub has a proper old backstreet charm and would definitely go back again if we were in the area.

I visited on Sunday early evening for a quick drink and a spot of quiet line learning. It was perfect as there was no one else inside and the music was purely background. Good, friendly service. Very nice drink and the pub to myself. What more could you want?!

Nice lively pub with a good atmosphere. Not a bad selection of beers and I'll admit a few were enjoyed. Shame I wasn't able to stay longer but will definitely go back when I'm in Brighton again.

What a lovely little pub. The horseshoe bar itself is such an old school open plan top given the staff full interaction. Was great. Head hurts today but we'll worth it. The new man of the pub rhu. Made us feel so welcome. Definitely one to not pass by when in Brighton. See you for Xmas drinks

Awesome pub! My good friend is the manager and I had a great time performing! DJ & Live Percussion 🥁 definitely the warmest of spots in Brighton.

Cracking little pub with great selection of local beers, plus a few familiars. With most pubs serving the usual fayre, it's nice to see a selection of local beers on keg. Nice location too. Highly recommend.

Always visit this pub when near the shopping centre. 'On It' bar staff. I had my first pint of draught ale of 2021 here

Popped into the pub with my son as weather was dreadful, but so glad we did. Sam the manager was not only personable, professional and friendly but a thoroughly lovely guy. We ended up staying for more than one as he made us feel so welcome. Big thumbs up for still having one of the few proper boozers in Brighton. Nice one Sam 😁

Lovely little pub. I come here sometimes. Good choice of beer and tequila. Right in the middle of a manic town center you have this small lovely pub. Gem. There is adequate seating inside and a couple of tables out front. The staff are always friendly. I deffo recommend this place

Cozy pub in a great location. Nice environment for families too but not much seating in the evening, especially on a Friday.

I this charming little pub! It's in the heart of Brighton so it's such a god send when you need to rest your acting feet after a bit of shopping. Wonderfully friendly staff and great music nights. They serve a mean Bloody Mary and the Rhubarb Cider is just amazing!! 10/10

Nice place with a good mood. The choice of tequila and medical can be a bit more accurate and deep, the choice is nice but the product are kind of basics, the agave spirits is a amazing world an deserve more diversity in term of choice and presentation in the menu. Staff very nice.

Went in to this pub after seeing the board saying 'soup of the day Tequila'. We were a stag do of 8 people and we were made to feel welcome. Big shout out to the happy friendly bar staff who kept us I. Sambucca and vodka all night. A definite place to visit

A pub working as a pub. Cosy, fun and real would be this place down to a T. The staff are great, you're never left waiting or feeling invisible 👌 (it's appreciated). They know their products and how to serve them, it's nice to have a pint presented not just poured. If you want a drink in a good typical Brighton boozer, no sky sports or wkd. Just good vibes and good times, this is on the list. Enjoy!
