My love affair with a traditional Sunday Roast. Just had a very flavoursome Sunday roast with the family. Gravy is the crowning glory of any roast…this was super tasty. We had the Pork Belly £17.50 and Beef Rump £17.95 Kids had Pork Belly Roast £8 & Cauliflower Poppers £6.95 with a side of skinny fries. We didn’t feel rushed at all as they operate in 2 hour slots. (They state this when booking.) Great service from start to finish, really helpful & super friendly staff. So lucky to live in Hanover and have an array of great pubs on my doorstep. Thank you, it’s been a delightful experience here today. Can’t wait to come back again soon 😊

I've been a couple of times for Sunday roasts. Like most places you are advised to book ahead, but we have arrived early each time I've been they have found us a table with no fuss. It's always been very quiet when I've visited. Staff are very welcoming. Vegan nut roast here is great, maybe a quid or 2 more expensive than some, but we'll worth it. One day I'll have to stick around to see the sunset.

Was in the area and had been told this was a nice place to be, and it is. Aye a very nice tapas and a couple of glasses of prosecco and watched the sunset. View is lovely -- feels very like being on holiday in this space. Had a lovely time and will definitely come back. Laid back, kindly, good food and view! Thanks for a pleasant visit

Love the pub and the staff are lovely. The terrace is a great spot in the summer. It would be 5 stars but sadly they changed their kitchen and the new menu / food isn't nearly as good as it used to be and not great veggie options unless you like deep fried tofu :'-( would be great to see some fresh, healthier options for food again!

I have been here many times. The food is REALLY good! Sunday lunches are some of the best I've had in Brighton and the food during the week is delicious too. I was lucky enough to catch the sticky ribs when it came on the specials board, and they were THE BEST ribs EVER! Meat falling off the bone and a Man vs Food sized stack of them too. Plus, if their chips aren't the best you've ever had, then my name's Joey Jo-Jo Junior Shabadoo! But what sets the setting sun apart is the staff are all so lovely and friendly. They were even happy to create a dessert that was not on the menu at my friend's request using a spare Yorkshire pudding. See Pic. It's a great pub with nice locals and a chilled atmosphere. 100% recommendation.

Best veggie sausage and mash I’ve ever had, and the others really enjoyed their duck. Really friendly service, great views over Brigjton - what a brilliant pub. We’ll come back next time we are in Brighton. Bottoms up!
