Barista was really nice, I have a very nervous chihuahua and she said hello to him the correct way and a good time was had by all.
The dog friendly sign on the door definitely rings true (:

been going here for a few months now for a coffee before work - every member of staff seems to remember my order perfectly and are so ridiculously friendly and helpful. been to all the SB coffee shops and this one 100% tops it! i've never written a google review in my life so this must mean something!

Excellent tasting coffee which took us all by surprise. Great taste and warm and friendly Barista to top it all off. Would recommend popping in for a brew and cake.

Very impressed indeed. We went in just for a coffee. Really enjoyed their filter coffee. Lots of snacks, cakes and nibbles, some vegan. The vegan sausage rolls looked very appetising indeed. There is definitely an air of quality about this cafe, which I am sure that even the most discerning connessuir would notice. Well worth a visit.

We already know the coffee is good - it's Small Batch. But that's not why this place deserves 6 stars. The 5 years I've been in Brighton I've not met a more wonderful group of staff. There isn't a single member I couldn't have a nice chat with and I'm usually a grab-coffee-and-go kind of person. Everyone is so friendly and going in has often been my daily pick up during COVID - it stopped being just about getting coffee a long while ago.
If you're in the Seven Dials area, honestly look no further.

Small batch has been my go to cafe for the last 7 years now! Coffee is amazing, food is great, staff is lovely and the atmosphere just tops it off! Highly recommend

Nice coffee, limited dining options in Seven Dials branch and staff are not overly friendly in contrast to Western Road outlet. Love the idea of converted bank building.

I mean the pictures speak for themselves - breakfast disappeared quickly. Well presented products and good coffee. The inside of the shop could do with a makeover upstairs with the pleather seats worn through, not quite the right height and generally needing some cash spending.

Lovely little place. Friendly staff, good prices and freshly made pastries. Tea served in tea pots and fresh coffee. Very on trend place

Paid for barista lessons and got exactly that. An extremely knowledgeable person that taught me so much. I couldn't recommend this enough. I have always loved small batch coffee and this experience has just made it even better for me. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Legendary place glad to finally visit but unfortunately at the end of the day so could only sample coffee. It was quite weak and hot for my liking but could see staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Trendy location. Wouldn't put me off visiting again ..
