Bottomless brunch with Dik Day was amazing, all drag acts were great! The service was really good, I didnt catch our waitresses names but nothing was to much trouble for her. Visited 19/08/23

Stopped by for Afternoon Tea using a voucher received as a gift. We were able to add our son for a children's tea as well, all easily accommodated via email. Friendly correspondence.
Children's tea was very cute, but would have preferred a little less sugar.
Adult tea was fine. The sandwiches weren't as refined as they could have been, but tasted fine.
The scones were the star of the show served fresh and warm. Absolute perfection.
Desserts were ok, but all extremely sweet save for the eclair which was very disappointing.
Atmosphere is nice, service is friendly, quick and efficient.
Was it worth it? Yes, because it was a gift and we only paid for the kids tea. If I'd paid myself, I would be a lot more disappointed for that price.

Really enjoyed having pre and post meal drinks in the bar. Prices not too outrageous for a hotel . Good atmosphere and great bar staff , chatty and very entertaining.

The food at the metropolitan at one of the events , of which I've been to alot, has also been just standard. But at the boxing event I went to tgis Saturday, they surpassed themselves. It was excellent
5 star. This was not the bar, its was the events room. Your usual chicken on mass had been changed for an amazing beef dish... really impressed. The price was for the boxing night and food.

We just experienced the Bottomless Brunch and the service was second to none, amazing staff, so helpful and lovely. The dishes we had were delicious and the endless sparkling wine was, well, need I say more. The whole experience was such fun and amazing value. We will be back for sure 😁🥂👌
