Cocktail Shack

Amazing experimental cocktails. The staff are very knowledgeable and will make custom drinks to suit your tastes. Note that they redecorated last year, moving away from the tiki theme you see on Google. Less shack, more chic. Check out the ping pong table downstairs, and give the bookcase at the bottom of the stairs a little push.

A visit to the cocktail shack has been long overdue! My expectations were high and I was not disappointed! I didn't realise it was part of the artist residence hotel that also houses The Set restaurant and Cafe where I was going for a meal with a few fellow yelpers, so it was perfect for a pre meal drink! I opted for the Thai-Tanic. A delicious cocktail with coconut, pineapple, Thai basil amongst other ingredients that I cant recall right now. It tasted a bit like a pina colada, but yummier! At around £9 -10 a cocktail it's a little more expensive than most places but it's worth it for the quality of the drinks.
