Food was tasty and a great portion. Not too greasy fish and chips. Very reasonable price for what you got. The owner was also a very nice guy. If you want fish and chips in Brighton you should come here!

Amazing place! Food is outstanding, staff is really nice, especially this young lady, so chatty and funny!

Coming from NZ, I was yet to find a proper fish and chip shop in the UK that I actually enjoyed. However... The Waves is a winner! Best fish ever. Great service served with a smile and portions that will not leave you hungry. Such a little hidden gem that we just stumbled upon and we will defiantly be back :)

Clean and warm, nice people, best and freshest chips and cod we,ve had in Brighton for years. Sweet and thoughtful fish man, will cook the batter extra crispy when asked, would bring my whole family here. Shazza

Check our The Waves for its friendly service and bright cheerful environment in the centre of Brighton. I only had chips this time, but they were done to perfection! I’ll be back :)
