The Famous Sichuan - Brighton - Photo album

The restauraunt is not glamorous but the LARGE portions of DELICIOUS food were served very quickly.
So big portions!!!! Not to badly priced. Very very yummy. Staff where very helpful.
Hopefully a balanced review. Light, non greasy food cooked in FRESH oil - I have eaten in other restaurants where the deep fried items are ruined by old oil. The food arrived hot. I don't live far away and my address is easy to find. If you live in a flat with multiple inhabitants and a bell that d
My husband & I had a memorable dinner here two nights ago. The meal was as superbly authentic as any in Chengdu or Beijing. We feasted on Sichuan braised grilled fish in a heavenly umami & spicy ambrosial gravy with an assortment of five sides, steamed rice with Tsingtao beer & Jasmine tea. We
Food was so tasty and made me feel at home in Brighton. Rice, mapo tofu, the pork were so delicious. We were 5 and we ordered 4 rice portions, then the 5th person wanted rice. The waiter was so nice and only charged us 4 portions of rice + free refill! For 5 people and a delicious meal, £51 is a tre
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. There were certainly a couple of dishes like weren't quite to my taste such as the sweet and sour pork. However in general I went away full and feeling I paid a reasonable price. Would recommend.
Basic dining area and service BUT OH SUCH GOOD FLAVOURS! We ordered a garlic veggies dish and another veggie dish with potato and aubergine, these arrived first and were extremely tasty. Following that Old Friend Noodle Soup arrived , we were warned that it smells "not great", but like a good chees
Hotpot! Loved it! £20/p
Visited this place twice within a few days because the vegan & vegetarian options were so good. Food is the highlight here, as although the staff were friendly and helpful, it has more of a cafe than a restaurant feel. Try the beancurd skin and peppers, the mock duck pancakes - both were sublime.
Really enjoyed my stay there several days ago. Large variety of food/drink options, all served pretty fast by friendly staff. Portions more than satisfying! I wasn't very familiar with the menu and was offered rice as a side to complement my main part of meal. Super helpful, many thanks!
Really impressed by the food. Large portions and very fresh. Had a lunchtime deal for £6.50 and was really surprised. Next time i'll ge trying the £7.50 chefs special lunch menu before nipping over to the show in Preston park. Kitty you've got this.
