The best nachos I’ve had while in UK. The fish and chips wasn’t great, the batter was wet and fish didn’t taste of much. Fried mushrooms were ok but lacked seasonings.

We were playing a dart match at the Market Inn ( us being the away team) . Seemed a bit strange walking into the pub that I once lived in, The Former Golden Fleece ( 1969 / 1990) my Dad died there in 1989 , I became joint licensee with my Mum until 1990. So you can understand my feelings in the pub ,dart board was where my Dads fish tank was. Gentleman behind the bar was very pleasant. We won our match .

I meet a relative of mine who lives in Brighton and we always go to this pub for lunch. Never fails to cook and serve a good roast dinner with apple crumble for pud.

The bar in the middle doesn't leave much space for tables, but all in all nice pub. Good music.
