Cosy pub. Some of the chairs are a bit hard. Unfortunately when we visited the urinals were leaking meaning a big puddle on the gents floor. Currently hosts a vegan kitchen (tofu social club) which does lovely burgers. Could do with marking them as to their contents as they look similar. Chip portions are nice and big and very tasty. Also tried the cookie dough with marmalade ice cream. The cookie dough was gorgeous but the ice cream a bit too orangey for me (should have expected that since it's marmalade, not orange).

They have a good selection of beer here and a great atmosphere - it reminds me of being in a cabin in the woods. The bar staff were very friendly and service was great; the only reason they're not getting 5 stars is that although their burgers were fairly tasty and you have lots of choices of flavours (with interesting names), they weren't spectacular. The meat especially was underwhelming. Definitely a good solid place to have a pint and some decent grub though; I'll be going back! If I could give 4.5 stars I would.

Fantastic and friendly staff. Tasty range of beers and spirits. Really beautiful interior. We went for the pub quiz (on mondays 8.30-11ish. Quizzers get a great discount on drinks). Staff really make this place. Really recommend! Not a far walk from Churchill square

Easily in the top 5 best burgers in Brighton. Simple, unfussy southern food which excels a lot of the competition locally. High quality, affordable and downright delicious! Excellent beers and the bourbons are perfect for a night cap. A real hidden gem.

Rough brick decor with murals painted on the walls gives this place an artistic yet cozy feel. Plenty of seating, with a retro table top arcade to fiddle around with. The highlight of this place though is the extraordinary price for a fantastic meal! £12 for slow cooked brisket with potato gems and cornbread?! Perfectly hearty portion sizes too! An unexpected treat on the streets of Brighton and Hove. Could not recommend enough!

Amazing place, not to say my and my best friend's favourite place to go to have a drink in Brighton/Hove. We ended up there casually last year in November and since that we keep going every time we meet. Nice quiet place to have a beer and not only, as the food is very good as well.

Amaaaaaaazing vegan roast dinner menu! I live nearby but never though to go in this place - the vegan menu is what attracted me and today actually tried it out. Love that they allow dogs in too and even have dried papaya dog treats for them! Really delicious roasted veg and lovely leek and potato "cheesy" tart. The gravy was also pretty phenomenal. And the braised red cabbage... I'm really impressed and can't wait to go back to try the maple glazed saitan steak

Vegan kitchen only yay!. Great chef, good food. Nice atmosphere. No coffee or any warm drinks avaiable. Unfortunately there was paper roll in the toilet :( so be careful :)

Managed to fit us in for lasties, polite friendly helpful service but bless them they were very busy so took awhile to get a drink but completely understandable. Social distancing ✔️ sanitiser everywhere ✔️ following the rules ✔️ can't fault them. Keep up the good work guys x

Underrated little boozer on one of the busier streets of the beginning of Brighton and the end of hove. Cheap, good tap range, good selection of liqueurs and fantastic music. the bar staff are the dons x
