Just moved to Brighton and we've been looking for a new Chinese restaurant. This is literally the first Chinese place my wife and I have agreed on after 6 years. The food at Wong Express is fantastic, everything came out hot, as ordered, and even had extra food. Can't recommend enough, we will be back!

We just ordered dinner from there today. It's not the worst Chinese food I've ever had, but it is certainly not anywhere near the best. And I was disappointed to find that both of my chicken entrees came with pork fried rice, without them telling me that it was going to be pork fried rice. Maybe that's my fault for not asking exactly what kind of rice that came with it, but in my experience chicken entrees typically come with plain shaved or fried rice, or chicken fried rice. The general tso's Chicken was very bland and the chicken was not good quality. Very chewy and fatty. The chicken fried rice was very heavy on the onion. I will not be going here again, especially for about $13 per entree.

This place used to be good but quality has gone downhill, last time my order wasn't good and I figured it was a one-off but my meal today is inedible. I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan (which I have enjoyed from here before) and the chicken is starting to disintegrate into chunky gelatinous gunk. The bamboo shoots are off color and limp as well, leading me to believe the ingredients were not fresh when this was made. The rice isn't as good as it used to be either, it has a weird texture like they used minute rice instead of regular. Will not be returning.

2nd time ordering here ever and both times I must say this place is multiple tiers above any other place I've had. Singapore style noodles and general tso are nothing other then perfect and the rice is exactly what you want in fried rice. Glad to finally find worthwhile Chinese takeout food.

Placed an order for pickup & was sent the incorrect items. Had some of the lo mein & now have a throbbing headache & nausea. Pray it isn’t the Wuhan flu. I’m from SF so I try to keep my expectations within reason, but another Michigan restaurant hasn’t failed to disappoint.

Forgot to order an extra egg roll with our meal, and they added it on for no extra charge (even after we offered to pay). Very friendly service and our food for a party of 6 was out in less than 15 minutes.

Hot and sour soup, mild at best
good taste and good veggies but no 'hot'. Minus one star.
Generals Chicken, ordered spicy...got mild, no kick Generals Chicken. For ordering Spicy and getting mild minus aother star.
Fried Wontons were as expected, good crispy with tender pork in the center.
For.lack of spice 3 stars. If you want your food hot keep the Siracha handy. I added 2 tblsp"s to the Hot and Sour Soup and 4 tbsp's to the Generals Chicken. Spicy, um um good!
