Tremendous burger, couldn’t fault anything. Had the bacon cheese and every element was perfect. Sweet potato fries cooked to perfection and generous portion. There’s a few really good burger places in Brighton but this has to be the best in my opinion. Will be going back! Also…. Made to feel really welcome, I’m assuming it’s a true independent.

A complete contrast to the miserable experience yesterday at the Juggs in Kingston.
The Franklin Arms was very busy at lunchtime but the bar staff were able to make eye contact and smile welcomingly.
I had fish and chips, clearly fresh and made on the premises. Our meals were brought out, we were asked if we enjoyed the food, and tea and coffee were brought out for payment later even though we were outside.
A well run and pleasant local pub with friendly staff.
Fantastic burgers, probably the best I have ever eaten! We come here very often, and my favourite is the bacon cheese burger, while my partner favours the blue cheese burger. I have mine bunless and it tastes brilliant regardless. The very generous patty is always perfectly cooked and juicy, not a hint of dryness, the special sauce is delicious, as are the sauteed onions and the icing on the top for me is the grilled halloumi extra that I always have. Brilliant stuff, I've yet to find a better burger in the UK.
Very good burger place. I ordered a bacon double cheese burger and chips and onion rings. Everything was delivered in sustainable packaging. The burger was in foil which kept it hot and and makes it easier to eat.
Everything tasted amazing, had lovely flavours and great ingredients. Would have been nice to have the option of how I'd like my burger cooked and gluten free buns would be a good option for me as well. That aside, the food's lovely and fairly priced.
Good value food with moderately priced alcohol. Got the gammon which was great for the price we paid. Friendly bartenders and generally nice staff and atmosphere.
This place has only been open for about a week. I tried a cheese burger and rosemary salted fries. Both were excellent. The ingredients of the burger were all good quality and it tasted really good. The fries were likewise, very tasty and there was a good portion, enough for two. I would recommend any burger oficionado to try this place.
Hidden gem of Brighton and Hove! Food was delicious (both meat and vegan), great service, decent prices, would 100% recommend!
I cannot reccomend this place enough! Amazing beef, even the colour ❤ the rosemary fries and the bun's are a perfect combination.

Amazing location for awesome creative burgers. If you’ve got craving for burgers, definitely check this place out- you won’t be disappointed. My burger was juicy served with fresh ingredients. The fries were also very good and a lot of them.
